IIHM, in collaboration with Marriott India, has launched the IIHM-Marriott Learning Classroom at its Global Campus in Kolkata, signifying a significant step forward in hospitality education. This pioneering initiative aims to provide students with world-class facilities and valuable industry insights as they pursue their careers in the field. The inauguration ceremony was graced by esteemed personalities from Marriott International and IIHM, including Gaurav Singh, Lizanne Pinto, Dr Suborno Bose, and Sanjukta Bose.
The partnership between IIHM and Marriott International was formalized through an MoU signed on May 11, 2022, with the common objective of enhancing industrial learning opportunities for IIHM students. Over the past year, both entities have worked tirelessly to materialize their vision, resulting in the establishment of the state-of-the-art IIHM-Marriott Learning Classroom in Kolkata.
Sarthak Mathur has been appointed as the Operations Manager for the forthcoming 'Country Inn Premier - The Prominence' hotel in Dehradun, slated to open its doors in August 2023. With more than 13 years of experience in the hospitality industry and a track record of working with renowned brands like Marriott International and Radisson Hotel Group, Sarthak brings invaluable expertise to lead the upscale 42-key hotel.
Akhil Arora, the Chief Executive Officer of Espire Hospitality Group, expressed enthusiasm for Sarthak Mathur's appointment, highlighting his unwavering commitment to excellence.
