Cygnett Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of a 114-key Cygnett Resort near Kainchi Dham in Nainital, Uttarakhand, expanding its presence across India's leisure and spiritual travel destinations.

The upcoming resort is being developed in partnership with Suri Developers and will be located in the Kumaon hills, overlooking the Himalayan landscape and snow-capped peaks. The property will also be within walking distance of Neem Karoli Baba's ashram at Kainchi Dham, making it relevant to both spiritual travellers and visitors seeking a mountain getaway.

The resort will feature 114 keys, including luxury family cottages designed to accommodate couples as well as larger family groups. Planned facilities include an all-day dining restaurant, expansive banqueting spaces, gymnasium and swimming pool.

With its accommodation and event facilities, the property is expected to cater to a mix of leisure and group travel requirements, including destination weddings, social celebrations, corporate retreats and group getaways.

The property will operate under Cygnett Resort, the group's contemporary leisure hospitality brand positioned around the philosophy "Modern, Mindful, Elevated." The brand combines contemporary design and functionality with service, guest comfort and wellbeing, with a focus on accessible luxury.

The resort is being designed for guests looking to combine relaxation with family time and destination-led experiences. Its positioning brings together spacious accommodation, food and beverage offerings, recreation and hospitality within the natural setting of the Kumaon Himalayas.

The Kainchi Dham project is also part of a broader collaboration between Cygnett Hotels & Resorts and Suri Developers, with the developer planning additional hospitality projects across Uttarakhand in partnership with the hotel group.

The signing adds another hospitality project to the growing Kumaon region, where spiritual tourism centred around Kainchi Dham is increasingly complemented by leisure travel, family holidays and destination celebrations.
