The Westin Tokyo, a beacon of tranquility in the heart of Tokyo, celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2024 with a grand renewal opening. The newly-renovated hotel, nestled in the upscale Ebisu district, beckons guests into a world of wellness and sophistication. With a design concept inspired by "Heritage and Reinvigoration," the hotel beautifully captures the history and natural beauty of its surroundings.

Marking its first major renovation since 1994, The Westin Tokyo embraces a vision that intertwines its past with a vibrant future. The concept, crafted by A.N.D., a NOMURA Co., Ltd., pays homage to the hotel's three-decade presence while reimagining its role in the evolving times. This renewal aligns with the Westin brand's essence, transforming the hotel into an oasis of wellness that offers mind and body-centered experiences.

The entire first floor, including the Lobby Lounge, has undergone a remarkable transformation into an orangery—a seamless blend of indoor and outdoor spaces that echo the natural beauty surrounding the hotel. With a breathtaking glass view of the serene Westin Garden, the lobby maintains its grandeur with original 13-meter tall marble columns. Floral artist Naoki Sasaki's green installation further enhances the connection to nature, creating a space that exudes the sublime beauty of the original landscapes of Ebisu.

The Terrace, the hotel's international restaurant, has been reinvented as a space that embodies the Westin's "Eat Well" philosophy. From its interior design to its health-conscious cuisine, The Terrace invites guests to delve into dining experiences that replenish the body, mind, soul, and the earth. Additionally, Patisserie by The Westin Tokyo, now boasting its own space, offers exquisite seasonal cakes, chocolates, and baked goods, complemented by stunning flower arrangements from +F, a boutique florist.

Yebisu, the teppanyaki restaurant on the top floor, treats diners to panoramic views of the Tokyo skyline. Redesigned around the concept of rising flames, this culinary haven showcases the artistry of some of Japan's finest teppanyaki chefs. Adjacent to Yebisu is Escalier, a sky bar that pays homage to the beer breweries of Ebisu with a copper-based color palette. Here, guests can savor cocktails and mocktails crafted by the award-winning The SG Club.

The Westin Club has found a new home on the top floor, offering exclusive lounge access, complimentary breakfasts, snacks, evening hors d'oeuvres, business and concierge services, and private check-in and check-outs to guests staying in the Executive floor and all Suite rooms.

All guest rooms, including Deluxe, Executive, Presidential, and Imperial Suites, have undergone a comprehensive redesign. Blending authentic European classical elements with the lush greenery of the surroundings, the rooms offer a comfortable and relaxing space.

Charles Jack, General Manager of The Westin Tokyo, expresses his delight with the completion of the scheduled renovations. He states, "Nestled in Ebisu yet strategically located close to the bustling Daikanyama, Shibuya, and Roppongi districts, The Westin Tokyo is a true urban oasis. Our curated collection of holistic programs elevates our guests' well-being during their travels."
