DoubleTree By Hilton Gurugram Baani Square proudly announces its collaboration with Dhagaa, a heartfelt initiative aimed at fostering the sustainable development of handloom weavers in India.
Recently, the hotel hosted a one-day exhibition in its elegant lobby, showcasing a stunning collection of 100% natural handwoven sarees, stoles, dupattas, tote bags, indo-western dresses, and artisanal handcrafted jewelry. These exquisite creations were skillfully crafted by talented Indian weavers and artisans, with a special emphasis on empowering women in the industry.
The event, held on February 18th, 2024, witnessed enthusiastic participation from guests and hotel staff alike. As part of the Women Team Member Resource Group (WTMRG) initiatives by Hilton, this exhibition was part of a broader campaign across all Hilton Hotels in India to support underprivileged women and their artistry.
