Ekta Mahajan steps into her new role as Training Manager at the renowned DoubleTree by Hilton Gurugram Baani Square, boasting 201 rooms. With a robust background in hospitality, Mahajan brings dynamic expertise to her position. Her journey began in 2014 as a Management Trainee with IHCL, where she transitioned into Learning & Development roles across prominent hospitality brands such as Taj, Radisson, and Lemon Tree.

In her latest role, Mahajan is tasked with spearheading efficient training procedures, talent cultivation, and operational enhancement. Her responsibilities include identifying training needs, inspiring teams, and ensuring seamless execution of training protocols.

Commenting on Mahajan's appointment, Jai Chugh, General Manager at DoubleTree by Hilton Gurugram Baani Square, expressed excitement about infusing fresh energy into the hotel's training modules. He emphasized the critical role of staff skill enhancement in delivering world-class service standards.

Backed by over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Taneja is set to lead a dynamic leadership team focused on employee engagement, guest satisfaction, stakeholder relations, and revenue growth.

An alumnus of the Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Trivandrum, Taneja began his career with The Leela Mumbai and went on to work with premier hotel groups such as Taj Hotels and The Oberoi Group before joining Marriott International in 2010.

His journey with Marriott has been both versatile and impactful. From serving as Executive Chef at JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu to becoming the Director of Culinary for South Asia, Taneja shaped Marriott’s food and beverage vision with trend-setting concepts.
