With stress levels rising and sleep becoming increasingly difficult for many Indians, award-winning wellness brand ELE|NA has introduced the Pillars of Vitality, a holistic wellness framework designed to help restore the body's natural rhythm instead of simply addressing individual symptoms.
The launch comes at a time when wellness has become a growing priority across the country. A 2026 LocalCircles survey found that 61 per cent of Indians now get fewer than six hours of uninterrupted sleep each night, compared to 50 per cent in 2022. Meanwhile, an Indeed India study revealed that 72 per cent of Indian employees have experienced burnout in their current role.
At the centre of ELE|NA's philosophy is what the brand describes as Biological Static, a condition where stress, lack of sleep, inflammation and constant digital stimulation leave the body struggling to regulate, recover and function at its best. The concept reflects the daily reality of many urban professionals balancing demanding work schedules, long commutes and continuous screen time.
Rather than offering quick solutions, the Pillars of Vitality are built around the idea of Systemic Restoration, helping guests move from imbalance to Systemic Flow through six connected dimensions of wellbeing:
TouchFlow – Restores physical and energetic flow.
SoulVibe – Helps calm the mind while supporting emotional balance and inner peace.
ReFine – Promotes healthy, radiant skin.
SleepSync – Supports the body's natural sleep rhythm.
BodyFit – Builds strength, mobility and resilience through movement, breathwork and functional fitness.
FoodDelight – Nourishes the gut microbiome to support overall health and wellbeing.
These pillars are brought to life through signature wellness experiences such as the Holistic Body Ritual, a full-body restorative treatment, and the SleepSync Villa Experience, a 90-minute in-residence ritual created to prepare the body and mind for deep, restorative sleep. Every experience follows ELE|NA's Wellness Your Way™ philosophy, ensuring treatments are personalised to each guest's individual wellness journey.
“Across India’s cities, we are seeing Biological Static everywhere, bodies held in a constant state of alert by stress, screens and shrinking sleep,” said Heidi Grimwood, Senior Vice President, ELE|NA (Atmosphere Wellness). “The answer is not another quick fix or a weekend of pampering. It is restoring the body’s own intelligence, its innate ability to heal, adapt and flourish. The Pillars of Vitality give every guest a personalised path back to their natural rhythm, whether that journey begins at one of our sanctuaries in India or on an island in the Maldives.”
The launch also reflects India's rapidly growing wellness tourism market, which is estimated to be worth over USD 30 billion in 2026. As digital-detox holidays continue to gain popularity, urban millennials and dual-income households are increasingly viewing wellness travel as a long-term investment in health rather than an occasional luxury.
Travellers can experience the Pillars of Vitality at Minerals by ELE|NA at Vantara Niwas, Jamnagar, while ELE|NA Ayur at Sadar Manzil Heritage by Atmosphere, Bhopal offers wellness rituals inspired by timeless traditions through the brand's personalised approach. Guests can also access ELE|NA's award-winning wellness experiences across Atmosphere Core's resorts in the Maldives, located just a short flight from major Indian cities.
As wellness continues to evolve, ELE|NA believes lasting wellbeing comes from helping the body heal, adapt and thrive naturally. Through the Pillars of Vitality, the brand aims to offer travellers a practical and personalised path towards sustainable health rather than temporary relief.

Yashoda Medicity, Ghaziabad, has launched ‘Rep Se Rescue Tak – Train Hard. Respond Faster.’, a World Heart Day campaign focused on strengthening cardiac emergency preparedness across gyms and fitness facilities in Delhi-NCR.
The initiative brings together fitness professionals, cardiologists, emergency medicine specialists, paediatric cardiac experts and fitness influencers to address the need for faster recognition and response when a medical emergency occurs during exercise.
The campaign comes amid growing public attention around reports of sudden collapses and cardiac emergencies during or immediately after workouts. The issue has also featured in policy discussions, with Punjab issuing an advisory in 2025 focused on preventing sudden cardiac arrest among gym-goers and sportspersons, including recommendations related to medical screening, safer training practices and emergency response.
Against this backdrop, Yashoda Medicity has structured ‘Rep Se Rescue Tak’ around three areas, cardiac and fitness awareness, structured trainer certification, and hands-on emergency response training.
The campaign brings together Dr. P.N. Arora, Chairman and Managing Director, Yashoda Group of Hospitals; Dr. Sandeep Jain, Director and Head, Emergency Medicine and Trauma Care; Dr. Asit Khanna, Director, Interventional Cardiology; Dr. Manish Aggarwal, Director, Interventional Cardiology and Structural Heart; Dr. Dhirendar Singhania, Director, Interventional Cardiology; Dr. Rachit Saxena, Director and Unit Head, Cardio-Thoracic and Vascular Surgery; Dr. Gaurav Kumar, Senior Consultant, Pediatric Cardiology and CTVS; and Neeraj Pal, Fitness and Wellness Coach.
More than 70 fitness professionals across participating gyms have already completed the Yashoda Certified Gym & Trainer Initiative. The programme covers the recognition of a suspected cardiac arrest, activation of professional medical assistance, initiation of CPR and awareness of when an automated external defibrillator (AED) may be used.
The training combines expert instruction with live CPR demonstrations and hands-on simulations. Participants practise assessing an unresponsive person, beginning chest compressions and coordinating the response while waiting for professional medical assistance.
Dr. P.N. Arora, Chairman & Managing Director, Yashoda Group of Hospitals, said the initiative aims to bring cardiac preparedness beyond the hospital and into everyday fitness environments. He highlighted the importance of equipping trainers and fitness professionals with the knowledge and confidence to respond during the crucial first minutes of an emergency.
Dr. Asit Khanna, Director, Interventional Cardiology, Yashoda Medicity, said fitness professionals are often among the people closest to an individual when an emergency occurs. He emphasised the importance of recognising a suspected cardiac arrest, activating medical assistance and beginning an appropriate response while professional care is on the way.
The campaign also extends its outreach through fitness and community influencers across Delhi-NCR. The initiative aims to bring conversations around heart health, responsible exercise and emergency preparedness into everyday fitness spaces.
Through ‘Rep Se Rescue Tak – Train Hard. Respond Faster.’, Yashoda Medicity is positioning cardiac preparedness as part of the broader fitness conversation, with the certification programme focused on helping participating gyms and trainers develop basic emergency response capabilities.

Yasmin Karachiwala, India’s foremost Pilates expert and celebrity fitness instructor, has inaugurated her new Yasmin Karachiwala Body Image (YKBI) studio in Pune. Opened in partnership with Muscle Bar, a calisthenics gym, the new studio brings Pilates and functional fitness together under one roof, offering different approaches to strength, mobility and mindful movement.
With more than three decades of experience, Yasmin Karachiwala has been part of the growth of India’s contemporary fitness landscape. Recognised as the country’s first BASI-certified Pilates instructor, she has trained several leading personalities, including Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday and Hrithik Roshan. She has also authored fitness books including The Perfect 10: 10-Minute Workouts You Can Do Anywhere and co-authored Sculpt and Shape: The Pilates Way.
Speaking at the launch, Yasmin Karachiwala said, “We are delighted to partner with Muscle Bar to bring YKBI to Pune and make Pilates more accessible to the community in this city. What makes it so effective is its versatility. It can benefit everyone from children to senior citizens, from desk-job professionals to homemakers and elite athletes. Pilates is not about how much you can do, but how well you can move. It builds strength with control, improves mobility and creates a deeper understanding of your body. I have seen how the right Pilates practice can transform the way we train and recover.”
Murtaza Fakhruddin Nasir, Co-founder of Musclebar and Musclebar sports club, said, “When we started Musclebar in 2019, our focus was building an Open air gym with calisthenics and functional fitness as prime focus. Over the years, our vision has evolved into a space where people can find different forms of training and recovery patterns. Pilates was a very natural addition to that vision, and partnering with Yasmin Karachiwala’s Body Image allows us to bring it to Sopanbaug with the right expertise and experience. For us, this launch is another step towards building a complete fitness ecosystem for everyone, regardless of their age, fitness level or preferred way of training.”
YKBI Pune offers a range of Pilates sessions, including mat, reformer, chair, tower, mixed equipment and small equipment classes. The studio is equipped with Reformers, Chairs and Towers, along with equipment such as magic circles, strength straps, power pods and booty bands. Sessions are recommended based on what can benefit each client.
As an introductory offer, YKBI Pune is offering a single session, four sessions, valid for 10 days, and seven sessions, valid for 20 days.
Through its partnership with Muscle Bar, YKBI Pune brings Pilates and calisthenics together, giving Pune’s fitness community an opportunity to explore strength, control, mobility and body awareness through different training methods.
