ELIVAAS, a premium hospitality company offering professionally managed holiday homes and villas, has entered Munnar with two new properties, Jai Hill and Kavyath Valley - under its Alaya Stays by ELIVAAS collection.
The expansion marks ELIVAAS’ entry into Munnar and adds to its growing portfolio of experience-led stays across India’s leisure destinations.
The company plans to further expand its Munnar presence with five more properties coming soon under ELIVAAS Signature and Alaya Stays, building a wider portfolio of private and professionally managed accommodation in the destination.
Through Alaya Stays by ELIVAAS, the company offers accommodation designed for leisure travellers, families, groups and corporate guests. The concept combines the privacy and space of holiday homes with professionally managed hospitality services.
The addition of Jai Hill and Kavyath Valley provides travellers with private stay options for family holidays, group trips and leisure getaways, while allowing guests to experience Munnar at their own pace.
The company said the expansion is part of its broader strategy of entering destinations with strong leisure demand and offering alternatives to conventional hotel accommodation.
Commenting on the expansion, Ritwik Khare, Founder & CEO, ELIVAAS, said, “Munnar has a strong and established traveller base, and our entry into the destination marks an important step in ELIVAAS’ regional expansion strategy. We see significant potential for professionally managed private stays in Munnar, particularly among families, groups and leisure travellers. The addition of our first two properties under Alaya Stays by ELIVAAS is an important first step in our Munnar journey, and with five more properties in the pipeline, we are looking to build a meaningful presence in the destination. Our focus is to offer travellers thoughtfully managed stays while creating value for property owners. As we continue to expand, we will remain focused on destinations where we see strong demand and long-term potential.”
Munnar was selected as part of ELIVAAS’ destination expansion strategy because of its established domestic and international traveller base and its position as one of Kerala’s key leisure destinations.
According to Kerala Tourism’s 2025 tourism statistics, Munnar recorded 3,018,598 domestic tourist visits in 2025, the highest among destinations in the state. The destination also recorded 67,744 foreign tourist visits, highlighting its importance within Kerala’s tourism landscape.
The growing visitor base creates opportunities for a broader range of accommodation formats, including private villas and holiday homes that cater to families and groups seeking more space and flexibility.
The two new ELIVAAS properties provide the company with a base from which to build a larger presence in Munnar as its upcoming pipeline progresses.
The planned Munnar expansion forms part of ELIVAAS’ wider strategy to develop a geographically diverse portfolio of professionally managed villas and holiday homes across India.
The company focuses on destinations that combine established tourism demand with opportunities for private, spacious and experience-led accommodation.
Founded in 2023, ELIVAAS operates collections including ELIVAAS Signature, ELIVAAS Privé and Alaya Stays, alongside second-home vacation rentals and experience-led stays.
The company is building a technology-enabled hospitality platform focused on professionally managed villas and holiday homes, with an emphasis on curated stays and personalised guest experiences.
