Eros Hotel New Delhi by IHG has announced the appointment of Tanay Shankar as Director of Sales & Marketing, further strengthening its commercial leadership team as the hotel continues to enhance its position in Delhi's luxury hospitality market.

Bringing over 17 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Tanay joins the hotel with extensive expertise in sales, marketing, business development, customer engagement, and strategic revenue generation. In his new role, he will lead the hotel's sales and marketing initiatives, focusing on business development, revenue growth, brand positioning, and strengthening relationships across corporate, MICE, leisure, and travel trade segments.

A seasoned hospitality professional, Tanay has held leadership roles with several prominent hospitality brands, including Radisson Hotel Group, Accor, and IHG Hotels & Resorts. Throughout his career, he has built expertise in sales planning, account management, business development, and commercial strategy, contributing to the growth and performance of multiple hotel properties.

Prior to joining Eros Hotel New Delhi, Tanay served as Unit Head – Sales & Marketing Manager at ITC Hotels Ltd., where he played a key role in driving business growth and supporting the company's commercial initiatives. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality & Catering Technology and an MBA in Marketing, combining operational knowledge with strategic business acumen.

As Director of Sales & Marketing, Tanay will work closely with the hotel's leadership team to identify new business opportunities, strengthen market presence, and support the hotel's overall commercial objectives.
