International hospitality company Atmosphere Core has announced two pivotal leadership appointments. Maurice Lucien Van Den Bosch returns to the Atmosphere Core family as General Manager of RAAYA by Atmosphere, while Milan Mookerjee joins as Vice President of Human Resources. These leadership changes reflect Atmosphere Core’s ongoing commitment to enhancing guest experiences and fostering a people-centric culture across its portfolio of three brands and nine resorts.

Maurice Lucien Van Den Bosch Returns as General Manager of RAAYA by Atmosphere

Born in Australia, Maurice Lucien Van Den Bosch draws from the country’s renowned laid-back yet dynamic culture in his leadership style, fostering a spirit of inclusivity, adventure, and warm hospitality. He brings over 24 years of expertise in resort management, with a demonstrated ability to exceed profit targets, develop new projects cost-effectively, and lead culturally diverse teams with motivation and efficiency.

Maurice’s extensive experience includes leadership roles at some of the world’s top hospitality brands in the Maldives, Sri Lanka, and the Caribbean. A familiar face within the Atmosphere Core family, Maurice has served as General Manager at both OZEN LIFE MAADHOO and Atmosphere Kanifushi.

As the General Manager of RAAYA by Atmosphere, Maurice will leverage his deep understanding of the brand to lead the resort with a focus on anticipating, crafting, and elevating guest experiences. Milan Mookerjee Appointed as Vice President of Human Resources, Atmosphere Core

Veteran Human Resources leader, Milan Mookerjee, will oversee talent management and employee growth initiatives across Atmosphere Core's resorts in the Maldives. With over 15 years of industry experience, Milan is a seasoned professional known for aligning HR initiatives with business goals and fostering a human-centric culture.

Reflecting on his approach to human resources, Milan said, "Leadership is a privilege that we owe to our team. Intentionality with direction and purpose drives results, and I am committed to fostering a culture that empowers our people to grow and succeed. In hospitality, success begins with a motivated, engaged workforce, and I believe in creating an environment where employees feel valued, supported, and inspired to deliver exceptional guest experiences. This includes investing in continuous learning, nurturing talent, and promoting a strong sense of belonging within the team."

Before joining Atmosphere Core, Milan served as Head of Human Resources and Training at Encalm Hospitality Pvt. Ltd., where he led HR and training functions to drive business growth. He has also held several HR leadership roles at prominent companies in India, with a proven ability to develop talent and design learning programs tailored to business needs.

She most recently served at Conrad Bengaluru as Learning & Development Manager, where she led leadership training programmes, structured onboarding initiatives, and compliance-focused learning frameworks.

Her career journey also includes key roles at Shangri-La Hotel Bengaluru, Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru, and Sheraton Grand Bengaluru. Across these organisations, she contributed to enhancing service standards, strengthening quality assurance, and building high-performing teams.

Recognised for her strategic outlook and collaborative leadership style, Innu has consistently focused on embedding learning into business outcomes while elevating guest experience standards.

In her new role, she will lead the cluster’s learning strategy, with a strong emphasis on leadership development, talent progression, and cultivating a robust service culture. Her responsibilities include designing and implementing training programmes aligned with Hilton’s global brand standards, while ensuring operational excellence and audit readiness across properties.

Courtyard by Marriott Tirupati, which opened in April 2026, has announced the appointment of Samata Danday Chand as Hotel Manager. This move reflects a strong focus on leadership as the property looks to establish itself as a preferred stay for pilgrims, leisure travellers, and corporate guests visiting Tirupati.

In her new role, Samata will lead overall hotel operations, shape guest experiences from the beginning, and guide the property’s growth during its early phase and beyond.

With over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, Samata brings deep expertise in operations, guest engagement, and team leadership. She is known for building strong teams and maintaining consistent service standards across roles.

She began her journey with IHCL Taj Hotels, where she spent close to ten years as an executive housekeeper. During this time, she handled several pre-opening projects and major renovation initiatives, building a strong base in operations and execution. She later moved into Learning & Development, where she focused on improving team skills and strengthening workplace culture.

Over the years, Samata has taken on senior leadership roles such as operations manager and director of rooms, where she managed overall hotel operations. Most recently, she served as Executive Assistant Manager – Rooms at JW Marriott Bengaluru Golfshire, contributing to guest experience and operational performance.
