Fairfield by Marriott Dehradun has announced the appointment of Dev Thakur as its new Hotel Manager, effective 25th August 2025. With more than 20 years in hospitality, Dev brings extensive operational expertise and a strong focus on guest experience to the role.

Dev began his career in Food & Beverage operations, working across fine dining restaurants as well as large-scale catering, before moving into leadership roles with prestigious brands such as The Leela Palaces Hotels & Resorts, Hyatt International, Hilton Hotels, and Accor Hotels. His journey across luxury, business, and resort properties has given him a holistic understanding of diverse hospitality landscapes.

Most recently, Dev served as Director of Food & Beverage at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, where he was instrumental in strengthening the hotel’s dining portfolio, elevating guest satisfaction, mentoring teams, and achieving key business goals.

His leadership is expected to play a key role in positioning Fairfield by Marriott Dehradun as a trusted choice for both business and leisure travellers.
