Fairfield by Marriott Kolkata and Ozone Convention Centre has announced the appointment of Punam Guha Roy as Assistant Director of Catering Sales, effective March 2026. The move comes as the property continues to strengthen its catering and events segment in the city.

Punam brings solid experience in hospitality sales and catering, along with a strong track record in managing events and driving revenue growth. Before joining Fairfield by Marriott Kolkata and Ozone Convention Centre, she was associated with Taj Ganga Kutir Resort & Spa as Catering Sales Manager, where she played an important role in building and expanding the resort’s catering portfolio.

Over the years, she has worked with well-known hospitality brands including Hyatt Regency Kolkata and Taj Taal Kutir. She began her career with CHROME Hotels, where she gained her initial experience in the industry.

With a good understanding of the local market, along with her skills in client relationship management and strategic sales planning, Punam is expected to further strengthen the hotel’s catering and events vertical. In her new role, she will report to Utsav Chatterjee, Assistant Director of Sales.
