Farzi Café Seattle has announced the appointment of Pankaj Joshi as its new Sous Chef, further strengthening its culinary leadership team.

Chef Pankaj Joshi brings extensive experience in Indian cuisine, luxury hospitality, and international kitchen operations. Known for his expertise in authentic Indian flavours and curry specialisation, he has built a strong culinary background through roles across leading hospitality brands in both India and the United States.

At Farzi Café Seattle, he will support kitchen management, menu planning, culinary innovation, and team leadership while helping enhance guest dining experiences through the brand’s contemporary take on Indian cuisine.

Before joining the Seattle restaurant, Chef Joshi worked at Sanjh Creative Indian Restaurant & Bar in Irving, Texas, where he focused on delivering elevated Indian dining experiences with a strong emphasis on regional authenticity and modern presentation.

His hospitality journey also includes working with some of India’s prominent luxury hotel brands. He served as Junior Sous Chef – Indian Cuisine at The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel Delhi, where he gained experience in fine dining, banquet operations, and large-scale kitchen management. He was also associated with ANDAZ Hyatt New Delhi, Hotel Hans Plaza New Delhi, Park Plaza Hotel Noida, and Country Inn & Suites by Carlson Sahibabad during different stages of his culinary career.

Over the years, Chef Joshi has developed expertise in Indian curry preparation, culinary operations, team coordination, and maintaining consistency in flavour while adapting to modern dining trends.
