Four Points by Sheraton Hotel & Serviced Apartments has announced the appointment of Chef Saroj Kumar Sah as its new Executive Chef, marking a key leadership addition to the hotel’s culinary team.
Chef Saroj brings over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, having worked with renowned hotel brands in India and abroad. His professional journey includes roles at Grand Hyatt Goa, Hyatt Regency Ludhiana, Park Regis Goa, and Le Méridien Nagpur, where he played a key role in delivering consistent dining experiences and developing innovative menus. His international exposure with P&O Cruises (UK/USA) has further strengthened his ability to blend global flavours with local culinary traditions.
Over the years, Chef Saroj has led several operational and culinary initiatives, including themed buffet concepts, outdoor catering services, and standardised recipe systems aimed at maintaining quality and consistency. He has been recognised as Employee of the Month at Grand Hyatt Goa and is also a certified Hyatt trainer, reflecting his strong focus on team development and skill-building.
His appointment aligns with Four Points by Sheraton’s vision of enhancing its food and beverage offerings while delivering approachable, high-quality dining experiences. Known for his hands-on leadership style and commitment to continuous learning, Chef Saroj brings a balance of creativity and operational discipline to the role.

Holiday Inn Express has announced the appointment of Sandesh Parab as General Manager of Holiday Inn Express Hyderabad Banjara Hills. The move reflects the brand’s focus on strengthening on-ground leadership and driving consistent guest experiences across key markets.
Sandesh brings over two decades of hospitality experience, having worked with leading global hotel brands including Hyatt Hotels, Hilton International, and Marriott International. His professional expertise spans hotel operations, guest experience, revenue management, and team leadership.
Prior to joining Holiday Inn Express, Sandesh served as Director of Rooms at Hyatt Pune, where he also took on the role of Upsell Champion for Hyatt Hotels across South and Central India. Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions at Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai International Airport, Hilton Mumbai International Airport, Hyatt Regency Mumbai, and Hilton hotels in the United Kingdom. Across these roles, he has built a strong reputation for service excellence, attention to detail, and people-focused management.
Sandesh holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Hospitality Management from Ealing, Hammersmith & West London College in the UK, along with a Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology from Rizvi College of Hotel Management, Mumbai. Outside of work, he enjoys travelling and sports.

Alma Resort Cam Ranh has announced the appointment of Yury Papouski as its new Recreation Manager, strengthening the resort’s leadership across leisure, wellness, and guest engagement experiences. Yury brings diverse experience in overseeing sport, recreation, wellness, and edutainment programmes within Vietnam’s hospitality sector.
Before joining Alma, Yury served as Resort Experience Manager and Wellness Ambassador at Hyatt Regency Danang Resort & Spa. In this role, he managed a wide portfolio of recreational, wellness, and family-oriented facilities, while also driving revenue growth and introducing signature guest programmes.
Earlier in his career, Yury worked as Project Manager at Edutainment Events Co. across Hanoi, Danang, and Nha Trang, where he was responsible for conceptualising children-focused edutainment events and supporting marketing initiatives. He has also served as Entertainment Supervisor at Swandor Hotels & Resorts in Cam Ranh, contributing to the design and execution of sports and entertainment programmes while managing event operations.
A graduate of Belarus State Economic University with a degree in Economist of Marketing, Yury combines creative programme design with a structured, guest-focused approach to leisure operations.
In his new role at Alma Resort Cam Ranh, Yury will oversee the resort’s extensive sports and recreation portfolio, including entertainment facilities, wellness-led initiatives, children’s programmes, and signature guest experiences. His focus will be on enhancing guest engagement, expanding recreational offerings, and supporting operational excellence across the resort’s leisure services.

JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar has announced the appointment of Surat Chand as its new Executive Housekeeper, further strengthening the hotel’s senior leadership team. With close to two decades of experience across India’s leading luxury hotels, Surat brings strong operational knowledge, hands-on leadership, and a sharp focus on guest comfort and cleanliness.
Surat joins JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar from The Westin Goa, where he served as Executive Housekeeper and led housekeeping operations with an emphasis on service efficiency, team development, and operational excellence. Prior to this, he spent over nine years at The St. Regis Mumbai, progressing through roles including Housekeeping Executive, Assistant Housekeeping Manager, and Manager Housekeeping. His tenure there helped build deep expertise in managing large teams and delivering consistent luxury service in high-volume environments.
Earlier in his career, Surat worked with reputed hospitality brands such as Grand Hyatt Mumbai, InterContinental, and ITC Grand Maratha. These roles provided him with a strong foundation in on-ground operations and inter-departmental coordination within premium hotel environments.
Reflecting on his approach to hospitality, Surat said, “Excellence in housekeeping comes from attention to every detail and empowering the team to deliver seamless service. At JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, my focus will be on creating guest experiences defined by comfort, cleanliness, and consistency.”
A graduate of the Metropolitan Institute of Hotel Management, Surat brings over 20 years of hands-on experience in luxury hospitality. Known for his meticulous eye for detail and people-first leadership style, he is recognised for building motivated teams while maintaining high service standards.
In his new role, Surat will oversee all areas of the Housekeeping Department at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, with a focus on service consistency, brand standards, guestroom quality, and training-driven excellence. His appointment reinforces the hotel’s continued commitment to delivering elevated and dependable guest experiences.
