Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru invites art lovers and guests alike to experience Threads of Tradition, a thoughtfully curated exhibition that transforms the hotel’s corridors into a canvas for quiet reflection. Running through June 30, 2025, the showcase is on view at CUR8, the hotel’s all-day dining space, adding another layer of cultural engagement to the luxury experience.

Curated by noted artist Meena Das, the exhibition brings together the work of seven acclaimed Indian artists, each exploring the evolving dialogue between tradition, memory, identity, and artistic expression.

On display is the work of S.G. Vasudev, one of the founding members of Cholamandal Artists’ Village and a key figure in the Madras Art Movement. His creations—ranging from oil paintings and silk tapestries to copper reliefs—are rich in vibrant colour and intricate lines, rooted in spirituality and heritage.

Krishna Shetty C.S., based in Bengaluru, brings forth semi-abstract works that emerge from dreams and memory, rendered in earthy tones and dense forms. V Hariraam presents Stellar Memories, a contemplative series of abstract paintings previously shown in prestigious galleries across India and abroad.

Paresh Hazra uses nostalgia as his artistic language, celebrating scenes from everyday Indian life with visual warmth, while Shraddha Rathi offers a unique blend of architecture and abstraction that reflects the tension and harmony between traditional and modern identities.

Adding to the exhibition’s depth, Ganesh Doddamani, a recipient of the Karnataka Lalit Kala Akademi Award, presents ethereal landscapes rooted in memory and folklore. Curator Meena Das also contributes her own works—evocative interpretations of feminine identity through instinctive form and palette.

“We’re delighted to present Threads of Tradition, a celebration of creativity, reflection, and India’s artistic legacy,” shares the team at Four Seasons Bengaluru. “This is more than an exhibition—it’s an extension of our vision to offer guests a culturally enriching experience within the luxury hospitality environment.”
