Fusion Hotel Group has announced the signing of a long-term hotel management agreement with Tropical Corporation on February 6th, marking its return to Phu Quoc with a new full-service, wellness-focused resort in southern Vietnam.

Under the partnership, Tropical Corporation will develop its beachfront site under the Fusion Resort brand, featuring 51 villas and 158 rooms. The resort will offer a wide range of facilities including an all-day dining venue, specialty restaurants and bars, meeting and event spaces, a kid's club, Maia Spa, an infinity swimming pool, and a dedicated beach club.

Fusion Resort Phu Quoc will be located along Bai Truong Beach, one of the island’s most sought-after beachfront stretches, and will be conveniently close to Phu Quoc International Airport. The location positions the resort as an accessible yet tranquil destination for both leisure and business travellers.

The property will showcase Fusion’s signature all-spa-inclusive wellness concept at Maia Spa, along with the brand’s well-known “breakfast anywhere, anytime” offering and personalised guest experiences delivered by Fusionistas. Together, these elements are designed to create a balanced and rejuvenating stay by the sea.

Scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2027, Fusion Resort Phu Quoc is expected to become a key destination for wellness-oriented travel, international gatherings, and events, catering to guests seeking a calm yet immersive resort experience.

At the signing ceremony, Tran Van Son, Chairman of Tropical Corporation, said, “Both parties are united by a commitment to quality, sustainability, and the creation of lasting added value for the project.” He also highlighted the strong growth of the wellness resort segment in Phu Quoc, widely recognised as one of Southeast Asia’s leading resort destinations.

It represents an important milestone in Fusion's expansion strategy and reaffirms our commitment to establishing a strong presence in wellness-oriented hospitality across Vietnam and other strategic tourism destinations.”

With this development, Fusion strengthens its footprint in Vietnam’s fast-growing wellness travel segment while reinforcing Phu Quoc’s position as a premier beachfront resort destination in Southeast Asia.
