Delhi just got a taste of Gordon Ramsay! On August 18th, Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global, in collaboration with Travel Food Services Limited (TFS), officially opened India’s first Gordon Ramsay Street Burger at Terminal 1 of Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA), Delhi. The launch marks the celebrated chef’s long-awaited entry into the Indian market.
The new Street Burger blends TFS’s expertise in traveller-focused dining with Ramsay’s globally recognised bold flavours and chef-driven concepts. Designed for passengers on the go, the menu is adapted to airport dining while still carrying Ramsay’s signature flair.
Guests can enjoy global favourites like Gordon’s Fried Chicken (GFC) Burger, alongside India-inspired creations such as the Tandoori Paneer Burger and Butternut Bhaji Burger. Signature sides including Hotter than Hell Fries, crisp vegan bites, vibrant salads, and indulgent classics like Sticky Toffee Pudding and milkshakes round out the experience. Cocktails crafted to complement the bold flavours complete the offering.
Delhi Airport, with its world-class infrastructure and massive passenger base over 77.8 million travellers in 2024 is the perfect stage for such a global debut. With the revamped Terminal 1 capable of handling 40 million passengers annually, the opening promises to redefine airport dining for domestic flyers.
Speaking on the launch, Andy Wenlock, CEO, Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global, said, “India’s passion for its rich culinary heritage makes it a natural home for Street Burger. With TFS, we’re bringing our signature flavours and inspired new dishes right to the gateway of the nation. Expanding into Delhi and soon Mumbai is an exciting step in our global journey.”
Varun Kapur, Managing Director & CEO, Travel Food Services Limited, added, “Indian travellers today expect global-quality dining that’s fast, relevant, and elevated. Bringing Gordon Ramsay to India’s airport space is a defining milestone for us, and reflects the shift in what airport experiences can and should be”.
The Delhi launch joins Gordon Ramsay’s growing portfolio of airport restaurants worldwide, including Plane Food at London Heathrow, Burger & Street Pizza at Doha Hamad International, and Plane Food To-Go at Hong Kong International. With India now in the mix, travellers can expect more Ramsay concepts to land soon Mumbai being next on the horizon.
This collaboration between TFS and Gordon Ramsay Restaurants sets a new benchmark for fast-casual airport dining in India, proving that sometimes, the layover can be just as exciting as the destination.

Popeyes, the iconic Louisiana-born fried chicken brand, has officially launched its first airport outlet at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Terminal 2. The opening marks a strategic step in Popeyes’ expansion across India following its debut in Mumbai earlier this year in August.
The Mumbai T2 store has been launched in partnership with AMRL, reflecting Popeyes’ focus on premium, high-footfall locations and its intent to bring globally loved flavours to travellers. Visitors at Terminal 2 can now enjoy signature offerings such as the Chicken Sandwich, Signature Fried Chicken, Boneless Chicken, and the Hot & Messy range, specially curated for the Indian palate. Staying true to its Louisiana Cajun roots, all chicken is fresh, hand-battered, hand-breaded, and marinated for 12 hours, ensuring bold and distinctive flavours in every bite.
Speaking on the expansion, Sameer Khetarpal, CEO & MD of Jubilant FoodWorks Limited, said, “Airports have become critical touchpoints for brand discovery and repeat engagement. Launching at Mumbai T2 allows us to reach a high-intent, high-frequency audience and take Popeyes beyond the high street. After a strong response in Mumbai since August, this opening is a deliberate move to scale the brand in premium travel-led locations.”
Highlighting the importance of F&B in the airport experience, a spokesperson from AMRL added, “The launch of Popeyes at CSMIA marks a significant milestone in AMRL’s F&B growth. Airports are evolving into lifestyle destinations, and partnering with a globally iconic brand like Popeyes aligns strongly with our vision of offering world-class choices to travellers. This collaboration reflects our focus on quality, consistency, and global relevance.”
The Popeyes Mumbai T2 outlet is now open for travellers, offering both dine-in and takeaway options for domestic and international passengers, making it a must-visit destination for those seeking a taste of Louisiana at India’s busiest airport.
