In a significant move towards sustainable hospitality, Novotel Hyderabad Airport Hotel, located in Telangana, India, has added Citroen electric vehicles (EVs) to its shuttle fleet. This initiative aligns with the hotel's commitment to promoting eco-conscious travel and reducing its environmental impact.
The incorporation of Citroen electric cars into the hotel's transportation services is a testament to Novotel's proactive approach in embracing environmentally friendly and technologically advanced solutions. These electric vehicles are not only eco-friendly but also equipped with the latest technology to enhance the travel experience of the guests.
This addition comes on the heels of the inauguration of the hotel's EV charging station in July last year. The charging station provides added convenience for guests who own electric vehicles, allowing them to recharge their EVs during their stay effortlessly.
Located at GMR Aerocity, Hyderabad, the 292-room Novotel Hyderabad Airport Hotel boasts a range of amenities including two dining options – The Food Exchange and The Gourmet Bar, as well as approximately 70,000 square feet of event space spread across 17 meeting venues. Guests can also enjoy the outdoor pool, car park, fitness centre, spa, and more.
The hotel's strategic location places it within a 30-minute drive from popular tourist attractions such as Hussainsagar Lake, Ramoji Film City, Charminar, and Wonderla.
In other news, Novotel has recently unveiled an extended stay concept under its brand in Bangkok, Thailand. The Novotel Living Bangkok Sukhumvit Legacy property is designed to cater to travellers seeking a 'home away from home' experience, regardless of their stay duration.
Novotel, a part of the global hospitality group Accor, operates over 530 locations in more than 60 countries. Accor's extensive portfolio includes more than 5,000 properties, showcasing the group's commitment to offering diverse and quality hospitality experiences worldwide.
