Hilton has announced plans to strengthen its presence in Italy with the addition of two new properties: the Hampton by Hilton Rome St Peter’s and the DoubleTree by Hilton Naples Oriente. Both hotels are set to open in 2025, marking a significant expansion for the global hospitality brand.
Alan Mantin, Hilton’s Vice President of Development for Southern Europe, noted the company's growing presence in the region, stating, “We continue to experience significant growth across Italy, with more than 2,000 rooms in our pipeline. We are excited to offer travelers new accommodations in Rome and Naples with these upcoming openings.”
Hampton by Hilton Rome St Peter’s This 124-room hotel will be the first Hampton by Hilton in central Rome, opening in March 2025 under a franchise agreement with Italyhotelmanagement Srl. Located near Via Gregorio VII and close to the Vatican City, it caters to both business and leisure travelers. Guests will have access to a gym and meeting rooms and will be within walking distance of St Peter’s Square, known for its Renaissance architecture and Michelangelo’s Pietà. The area also offers various local dining options for those seeking authentic Italian cuisine.
DoubleTree by Hilton Naples Oriente The new DoubleTree by Hilton Naples Oriente, set to open in spring 2025, will be the first of its kind in the city. Operated under a franchise agreement with F.G.N Horn Srl, this 112-room property will be located in central Naples. It offers easy access to major attractions such as The Royal Palace, Sansevero Chapel Museum, and is just a short drive from sites like Castel dell’Ovo and the ruins of Pompeii. The hotel will feature amenities including a gym, an all-day dining restaurant, a rooftop bar with panoramic city views, and versatile meeting spaces for business guests. It is conveniently situated 6.5 km from Naples International Airport, making it an ideal starting point for trips to the Amalfi Coast and surrounding areas.
Both new properties will be part of Hilton’s loyalty program, Hilton Honors, which provides members with benefits such as points for stays, exclusive discounts, and contactless check-in.
These additions will join Hilton’s existing and pipeline properties in Italy, which include 99 hotels such as the recently opened Anglo American Hotel Florence, Curio Collection by Hilton, and Hilton Garden Inn Milan Malpensa.
