Hilton has announced a new collaboration with Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra as part of its ongoing efforts to expand its presence in the Indian market. This partnership is an extension of Hilton's global marketing initiative, "Hilton. For The Stay," which aims to highlight the importance of the overall stay experience in travel.
Sidharth Malhotra, who resonates with the modern Indian traveler, is enthusiastic about this collaboration. He stated, "Travelling the world, both for work and leisure, has taught me that it’s not just about where you stay but the entire experience of how it makes you feel. I am always on the lookout for places that offer comfort, elegance, and a sense of home no matter where you are. That’s why I'm excited to be a part of the ‘It Matters Where You Stay’ campaign and share what makes a Hilton stay different."
As Hilton continues to grow in India, the company is set to triple its portfolio over the next few years. New hotels are planned for key destinations, including the introduction of Curio Collection by Hilton and Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts in Bangalore and Jaipur by 2025 and 2027, respectively. These expansions are aimed at meeting the rising demand for travel and offering new, branded experiences tailored to the needs of today’s travelers.
Ben George, Senior Vice President and Commercial Director for APAC at Hilton, emphasized the importance of these initiatives, saying, "Our latest activations are a natural extension of our ‘Hilton. For The Stay’ platform in India. Our guests in India crave personalized, authentic experiences, and the stories we will tell together, with renowned names like Sidharth Malhotra will inspire guests to dream, book and experience their very own Hilton Stays, exactly the way they want. With more people in India travelling than ever before, we now have even more ways to highlight how a Hilton Stay – driven by our signature hospitality – just feels different.”
Hilton's focus on personalized guest experiences is central to this campaign. In the coming months, the company plans to collaborate with other prominent personalities to further reinforce the message that where you stay matters. Additionally, Hilton is expanding its offerings in the wedding and event segments, as part of its strategy to enhance its market presence in India. These initiatives are designed to attract the growing number of affluent travelers in the region, ensuring that Hilton remains a top choice for those seeking exceptional service and memorable stays.

CGH Earth Saha has expanded its presence in Tamil Nadu with the launch of Isai Karai, a boutique coastal bungalow in Mahabalipuram. Designed as a quiet and intimate retreat, the property blends the charm of a traditional bungalow with modern comforts, set against a culturally rich seaside backdrop.
Located just a short walk from the shore along the Bay of Bengal, Isai Karai, meaning ‘musical shore’, offers a peaceful stay surrounded by greenery and the calming sound of the sea. The property also enjoys close proximity to iconic landmarks like the Shore Temple and the rock relief of Arjuna's Penance, allowing guests to explore the region’s heritage with ease.
The bungalow features five rooms, spread across a three-bedroom main residence and a separate two-bedroom unit. While rooms can be booked individually, the layout also works well for families and small groups looking for a shared yet private stay.
Each room is inspired by the natural surroundings, with names and themes drawn from plants and trees on the property. Interiors are designed to bring the outdoors in, with open-style bathrooms, natural light, and green views. Pathways run through lawns and shaded courtyards, with tropical fruit trees like papaya, mango, and star fruit adding to the relaxed setting.
The design also reflects Mahabalipuram’s artistic heritage, with locally sourced stone elements, sculptures, and curated artworks adding character to the space.
Dining at the bungalow focuses on flavours of the Tamil coast, along with other cuisines that can be customised for guests. Fresh seafood and locally sourced ingredients take centre stage, while evenings are best enjoyed at the poolside barbecue, where the day’s catch is grilled in a laid-back garden setting.
Beyond the stay, guests can explore nearby attractions such as the Mahabalipuram Lighthouse and the India Seashell Museum, along with local sculpture schools that continue the region’s stone-carving traditions. The beaches, known for their surf-friendly waves, also attract water sports enthusiasts.
With easy access from Chennai and Puducherry, Isai Karai Bungalow is well-suited for weekend getaways, longer coastal stays, and intimate family holidays.
