Hilton, a global leader in hospitality, has officially announced the name of its much-awaited extended-stay hotel brand: LivSmart Studios by Hilton. This unveiling marks a significant expansion in Hilton's portfolio, now boasting 22 distinct brands, and introduces a fresh perspective on long-stay accommodations.

LivSmart Studios by Hilton, conceptualised to cater to guests requiring stays of 20 nights or more, is set to redefine the extended-stay market segment. Since its initial announcement in May last year, the brand has already sparked considerable interest, with over 350 deals in various stages of negotiation.

Isaac Lake, the brand leader for LivSmart Studios by Hilton, shared his excitement: “After much anticipation, we’re thrilled to announce that LivSmart Studios by Hilton is official. With a resilient $300bn workforce travel market, the extended-stay segment continues to grow. It has never been as primed as it is now for this long-stay brand, and we’re thrilled with the initial excitement we’ve received from owners.”

LivSmart Studios by Hilton offers three core elements to its guests: deliberate design, spacious studio apartment-style accommodations, and a nontraditional lobby experience. The brand’s deliberate design features an exterior with warm wood tones and a modern farmhouse-inspired palette, complemented by light industrial touches. Outdoor patios with grills, a communal fire pit, and comfortable seating further enhance the guest experience.

The accommodations at LivSmart Studios are designed to emulate the feel of a spacious studio apartment. They offer an adaptable layout with efficient closet designs, ample storage, and movable furniture. The fully equipped kitchen area, featuring a dishwasher, microwave, full-sized refrigerator, and a two-burner stovetop, caters specifically to the needs of long-stay travellers.

The nontraditional lobby of LivSmart Studios is strategically designed to foster a communal environment. It provides a clear sight line to the fitness and laundry areas, as well as a simple retail market, allowing guests to enjoy a cup of coffee, exercise, or do their laundry in a relaxed setting.

Furthermore, guests at LivSmart Studios by Hilton will have the added benefit of being part of Hilton’s loyalty program, Hilton Honours. The first LivSmart Studios property broke ground last October in Kokomo, Indiana, USA, signalling the beginning of a new era in extended-stay hospitality.
