Hyatt Regency Chandigarh has announced two new appointments to strengthen its core leadership team—Mr. Sahil Mor as the new Front Office Manager and Mr. Sundera Moorthy Paulsamy as the Director of Engineering.
With over nine years of industry experience, Sahil Mor brings a strong foundation in front office operations and a people-first approach to guest service. He began his hospitality journey in 2016 at JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut Grove Resort & Spa and has since worked with prominent brands such as Roseate Hotels & Resorts, Fairmont Jaipur, Novotel Jaipur & Exhibition Centre, and IHCL – Taj Hotels Ahmedabad. Known for his warm leadership style and ability to build meaningful guest and colleague relationships, Sahil aims to create a welcoming and seamless experience for every visitor.
Commenting on his appointment, Ashwini Kumar, General Manager of Hyatt Regency Chandigarh, shared, “We are excited to welcome Sahil Mor to the Hyatt family. His guest-centric approach, operational expertise, and infectious positivity are a perfect fit for our culture. We are confident he will help drive service excellence.”
Outside work, Sahil enjoys reading and spending time with his dog. He also looks forward to growing in the hospitality industry by being part of a culture that values people.
Mr. Sundera Moorthy Paulsamy, fondly known as Moorthy, who has taken charge as the Director of Engineering. Moorthy brings over 22 years of experience in engineering operations and sustainability, having worked with respected properties such as The Oberoi Vanyavilas, Trident Jaipur, Ananda in the Himalayas, Leela Palace Chennai, and The Park Chennai. His most recent role was at Alila Hinu Bay in Oman, a Hyatt property, where he played a key role in optimizing engineering processes and sustainability initiatives.
Moorthy’s career is marked by his ability to enhance operational efficiencies, oversee preventive maintenance, and implement green solutions. He is also known for his leadership in complex renovation projects and his focus on safety and compliance.
“We are thrilled to welcome Moorthy to our Hyatt family,” said Ashwini Kumar. “His vast expertise, hands-on approach, and passion for innovation make him an invaluable addition to our leadership team.”
Outside of his professional life, Moorthy enjoys reading, spending time with loved ones, and pursuing outdoor adventures like trekking and hiking—especially in the Himalayas, which he hopes to explore further.

With more than six years of experience in HR operations, payroll, compliance, and administration, Eshant steps into the role with a strong operational foundation and people-centric approach.
Eshant has previously handled HR responsibilities for over 150 employees across sectors like hospitality, healthcare, and waste management, giving him a diverse and agile perspective.
