Hyatt Regency Chennai has appointed Shranoth Suresh as Director of Sales, bringing over 15 years of experience across hospitality, sales and marketing, and commercial leadership. A Chennai native, Shranoth returns to the city with experience across leading global hospitality brands and a strong understanding of the city’s business and hospitality landscape.
In his new role, Shranoth will lead the hotel’s sales strategy, strengthen key partnerships, drive business growth and further enhance Hyatt Regency Chennai’s presence in the market. Before joining Hyatt Regency Chennai, he held a key leadership role at Renaissance Bengaluru, where he built his experience in sales and commercial leadership.
His career also includes associations with ITC Hotels, Hilton and Marriott, giving him experience across different hospitality environments and markets. His approach to hospitality focuses on people, relationships and the experiences created through every interaction. Shranoth believes hospitality goes beyond business and is about making guests, colleagues and partners feel valued and cared for. His leadership approach focuses on building strong teams, developing lasting relationships and creating meaningful experiences.
Shranoth holds an MBA and PGD in Hospitality Management from HTMi, Sörenberg, Switzerland. One of his career highlights includes earning a place in the President’s Circle in 2024, recognising his performance, commitment and leadership. Away from work, Shranoth is a passionate sports enthusiast and particularly enjoys cycling. He credits the activity with teaching him discipline, patience and perspective. His personal motto, “Work hard but work smart,” reflects his approach to both leadership and life.
With his experience across hospitality, sales and commercial leadership, along with his connection to Chennai, Shranoth will contribute to Hyatt Regency Chennai’s continued growth while focusing on its guests, colleagues and business partners.
