Hyatt Regency Chennai set the holiday season aglow with its annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, marking the beginning of a heartwarming and festive celebration.
The centerpiece of the evening was a magnificent 25-foot-tall Christmas tree - the tallest in Chennai adorned with shimmering fairy lights, glittering ornaments, and crowned by a radiant star. The awe-inspiring tree, located in the hotel lobby, captivated all attendees with its magical ambiance.
This year’s celebration was made even more special by the presence of Mrs. Santa Claus, making her debut at the event. Spreading joy and cheer, she mingled with guests, posed for photographs, distributed holiday goodies, and shared heartfelt wishes, creating unforgettable memories for children and adults alike.
Ruban Das, General Manager of Hyatt Regency Chennai, expressed his delight, saying: “Hyatt Regency’s commitment to this year’s Christmas celebration was inviting the children of Prema Vasam orphanage to light up our traditional Christmas tree. I wish a very peaceful and happy Christmas to all families and guests. This year is special as we extend celebrations to include children and their friends with engaging activities. We invite everyone to drop by and celebrate with us.”
The event epitomized the spirit of Christmas - spreading joy, fostering togetherness, and indulging in festive treats. Guests savored delicious cocktails, mulled wine, and an array of holiday goodies that added to the merry atmosphere.
