Hyatt Regency Delhi is pleased to announce the appointment of Prashant Sharma as its new Director of Operations. With a stellar career spanning over 20 years in the luxury hospitality sector, Sharma brings a wealth of experience and a dedication to operational excellence that promises to elevate the hotel's standards.
Having worked with industry-leading brands like Country Inns & Suites, Intercontinental The Grand, Intercontinental Eros, and Shangri-La Eros New Delhi, Sharma’s career journey is a testament to his expertise and passion for hospitality. His tenure at Shangri-La Eros New Delhi saw him excel in key leadership roles, including Front Office Manager, Acting Director of Rooms, and eventually Director of Rooms. He also contributed to the successful pre-opening of Shangri-La Jeddah and gained valuable insights at the flagship Island Shangri-La property.
A graduate of Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, New Delhi, Sharma holds a Bachelor of Hotel Management degree. His hands-on training at Hotel Ashok, New Delhi, further equipped him with the skills to thrive in high-pressure hospitality environments. Known for his versatility, attention to detail, and assertive leadership style, Sharma has consistently delivered operational excellence throughout his career.
In his new role, Prashant Sharma will oversee all operational aspects of Hyatt Regency Delhi, focusing on refining processes, enhancing guest satisfaction, and driving efficiency across departments. His proven track record and deep understanding of the hospitality industry make him uniquely positioned to lead the hotel's operations with a focus on service innovation and guest-centric strategies.
