Hyatt Regency Dharamshala Resort is excited to announce significant leadership enhancements as part of our commitment to excellence. Suresh Kumar, a valuable member of the pre-opening team since November 2018, has been promoted to the position of Director of Operations. His journey began as a Front Office Manager, and he later ascended to the role of Director of Rooms in January 2021. With a remarkable hospitality career spanning back to 2007, Suresh Kumar brings a wealth of experience from renowned establishments like Leela Palace Kempinski, Dusit-Devarana New Delhi, Aloft Chandigarh, and Carlson Group6.
In addition, Vishnubhatla Bharadwaj has been appointed as the Human Resource Manager at Hyatt Regency Dharamshala Resort. Possessing over 11 years of illustrious experience in the hospitality industry, Vishnu's passion for his work is unmatched. He has been an integral part of the resort since July 2019, previously serving as the Human Resources Manager at Marriott Executive Apartments, Hyderabad, and contributing to esteemed properties like Hyatt Place Rameswaram, Hyatt Regency Chandigarh, and Park Hyatt Hyderabad.
With this new leadership, Hyatt Regency Dharamshala Resort aims to deliver even more exceptional guest experiences, elevate operational excellence, and further strengthen its position as a premier hospitality destination. The Leela Gandhinagar marked Earth Hour 2026 with a focused set of sustainability-driven initiatives, reinforcing its commitment to responsible hospitality and environmental stewardship.
As part of the global movement, the hotel switched off non-essential lighting and reduced power consumption across key areas for 60 minutes, from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm. The symbolic gesture reflected a collective effort towards climate awareness while maintaining the refined standards associated with luxury hospitality.
Beyond the hour, the initiative underscored the hotel’s broader sustainability philosophy.
