Hyatt Regency Thrissur is bringing together Indian spices and Chinese-inspired flavours with an Indo-Chinese Food Fest at Regency Café from October 2 to 11, 2026.

Themed “Where Indian Spices Meet the Flavours of China,” the 10-day culinary festival will explore the regional interpretations that have helped Indo-Chinese cuisine become a familiar part of India's dining culture.

The dinner buffet will be available from 7:00 PM to 10:30 PM, offering guests an opportunity to explore a selection of wok-style preparations and popular Indo-Chinese dishes in a relaxed hotel dining setting.

The menu takes inspiration from some of India's well-known regional interpretations of Chinese cuisine. Highlights include Kolkata-style Tangra Chilli Chicken, Mumbai-inspired Triple Schezwan Rice and Delhi-style Tandoori Momos.

A live Tangra Stir-Fry Station will add an interactive element to the experience, allowing guests to enjoy freshly prepared stir-fried dishes.

The spread will also feature familiar favourites such as Hakka Noodles, Manchurian Rice and Honey Noodles with Ice Cream, bringing together savoury wok preparations and a dessert-inspired combination.

Rather than presenting Chinese cuisine in isolation, the food festival focuses on the way Indian ingredients, spices and regional tastes have influenced the evolution of Indo-Chinese food across the country.

For diners in Thrissur, the festival offers an opportunity to explore these regional variations while enjoying an extensive dinner buffet at Regency Café, Hyatt Regency Thrissur.
