The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), the largest hospitality company in India, has entered into a strategic partnership with Tree of Life Resorts & Hotels, a recently acquired entity by the Ambuja Neotia Group. This collaboration is set to enrich the Indian hospitality sector, offering guests unique and immersive travel experiences in some of the country's most serene and offbeat locations.

Tree of Life Resorts & Hotels, established in 2009, operates boutique hotels across 14 destinations, including Mussoorie, Dared, Naggar, and Udaipurwati. These resorts are strategically located away from city centers, providing guests with exclusive getaways that offer a blend of luxury, nature, and cultural immersion.

Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of IHCL, emphasized the synergy between the two brands, stating, "With the rising trend of experiential travel, Tree of Life Resorts & Hotels offers our discerning guests unique travel experiences in offbeat destinations, including in tier II and III cities. This partnership is in line with our vision to expand our brandscape to newer formats which cater to the ever-evolving travel needs."

The strategic alliance will enable Tree of Life Resorts & Hotels to tap into IHCL’s vast marketing and distribution network, drawing both domestic and inbound travelers to these unique destinations. Harshavardhan Neotia, Chairman of the Ambuja Neotia Group, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, noting the increasing demand for experiential stays and setting an ambitious target of achieving 100 properties by 2030 under the Tree of Life brand.

Starting March 1, 2024, the Tree of Life Resorts & Hotels will be available for room bookings through IHCL’s distribution network. This move is part of IHCL's broader strategy, which has already seen the company surpass market guidance by achieving a portfolio of over 300 hotels, with 90 more under development.
