Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), the largest hospitality firm in India, has made an exciting announcement. They are adding another gem to their collection with the signing of a SeleQtions branded hotel in Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh. The hotel, a Brownfield property, is set to open its doors to guests in 2024.

Ms. Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President of Real Estate & Development at IHCL, expressed the company's enthusiasm for this venture, stating, “The signing of this SeleQtions hotel at Sirmaur in Himachal Pradesh is another step in IHCL’s pioneering efforts to put new destinations on the country’s tourist map. It will open a new circuit of Chandigarh - Sirmaur, as also augment our pilgrim offerings being in proximity to the historic Gurudwara Paonta Sahib. We are delighted to partner with Dolphin Terra Firma Pvt. Ltd. for this hotel.”

This hotel, spanning across six acres and featuring 42 keys, offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Shivalik range. Its location within easy driving distance from Chandigarh makes it accessible for travelers. The hotel will include an all-day dining facility, a bar, and an inviting outdoor cafe. Guests can also enjoy recreational amenities like a spa, swimming pool, and fitness center.

Mr. Neeraj Soni, Managing Director of Dolphin Terra Firma Pvt. Ltd., shared his excitement about the partnership, stating, “We are thrilled to partner with IHCL to bring the SeleQtions brand to Sirmaur. We believe this partnership will help attract more visitors to this undiscovered part of Himachal Pradesh.”

Sirmaur, with its natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, and spiritual significance, offers a multitude of attractions for tourists. This addition to the IHCL portfolio expands their presence in Himachal Pradesh, bringing the total count to five hotels, including Taj, SeleQtions, and Vivanta brands, with two more under development.
