IHCL Signs 122-Key Gateway Hotel in Alwar, Rajasthan

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the signing of a 122-key Gateway hotel in Alwar, Rajasthan, expanding its presence in the state through a brownfield hospitality project in partnership with Lords India Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.

The upcoming Gateway Alwar will be located within the Aravalli hills and is being positioned as a leisure hotel catering to travellers exploring the region's heritage, wildlife and natural attractions.

Commenting on the signing, Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President, Real Estate and Development, IHCL, said, "With its rich cultural heritage and proximity to NCR, Alwar is emerging as an ideal getaway for travellers seeking nature, wildlife and heritage experiences."

She added that the signing aligns with IHCL's strategy of developing new destinations and expanding its partnership with Lords India Entertainment.

The 122-key hotel will offer panoramic views of the surrounding landscape along with a range of dining and leisure facilities. These will include an all-day diner, specialty restaurant and bar, alongside wellness amenities such as a swimming pool, fitness centre and spa.

For weddings, social celebrations and corporate gatherings, Gateway Alwar will feature more than 9,000 sq. ft. of banqueting space along with versatile meeting rooms.

Manoj Kumar Chachan, Founder, Lords India Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., said, "Alwar's historic charm has immense potential as a leisure destination. We are excited to collaborate with IHCL to bring the Gateway brand to the region."

Alwar is known for its combination of historical landmarks and natural attractions. Key destinations include Bala Quila (Alwar Fort), City Palace, Sariska Tiger Reserve and Siliserh Lake, giving the city a mix of heritage, wildlife and nature-led tourism experiences.

The project will also strengthen IHCL's existing portfolio in Rajasthan. With the addition of Gateway Alwar, the company will have 74 hotels in the state, including 32 under development.
