Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the signing of a greenfield 232-key Gateway hotel in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, in partnership with Raj Kailash Hospitality LLP.
The upcoming Gateway Agra will be located along the Yamuna Expressway, strengthening IHCL's presence in one of India's most prominent tourism destinations and an important stop on the Delhi-Agra-Jaipur Golden Triangle circuit.
Commenting on the signing, Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate and Development, IHCL, said Agra remains an integral part of India's tourism landscape, attracting both domestic and international travellers. She also highlighted the city's development beyond tourism, including infrastructure growth, new townships and upcoming IT parks.
The hotel will feature an all-day dining restaurant, specialty restaurant and bar, along with wellness facilities including a gym and swimming pool.
For business and social occasions, Gateway Agra will offer banquet halls, a conference room and meeting rooms, catering to meetings, weddings and other events.
Kishore Kumar Gupta and Mani Gupta, Promoters, Raj Kailash Hospitality LLP, said the partnership with IHCL will bring the Gateway brand to a destination with strong tourism demand and growing infrastructure.
Agra, home to the Taj Mahal, continues to play a central role in India's tourism circuit. Its connectivity to Delhi and Jaipur, combined with ongoing infrastructure development, has supported the city's broader hospitality and commercial potential.

The project is being developed by Raj Kailash Hospitality LLP, promoted by Kishore Kumar Gupta and Mani Gupta, with interests across hospitality, real estate and tourism infrastructure.
