Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) marked its inaugural presence in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, through the signing of a Vivanta hotel. Positioned in strategic proximity to Donyi Polo Airport, the 150-key hotel is a significant move in IHCL's strategy to establish a footprint in all state capitals. Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of IHCL, emphasized Itanagar's role as a major hub for culture, economy, education, and recreation. This new hotel, IHCL's second in Arunachal Pradesh, contributes to the development of a fresh circuit connecting Guwahati, Itanagar, and Tawang.

In collaboration with Taling Eichir Infra LLP, IHCL brings its signature hospitality to Itanagar. The hotel boasts a range of facilities, including a multi-cuisine restaurant, bar, swimming pool, health club, fitness center, and state-of-the-art banqueting space exceeding 6500 sq. ft., encompassing meeting rooms.

Joram Jumse, Partner at Taling Eichir Infra LLP, expressed delight in partnering with IHCL, recognizing the hospitality leader's reputation for pioneering destinations and putting them on the tourism map. This collaboration aims to infuse Vivanta's stylish spirit into Itanagar's hospitality landscape.

Nestled amidst the scenic beauty of Arunachal Pradesh, with the snowcapped Himalayas to the north and the mighty Brahmaputra to the south, Itanagar serves as a nature lover's paradise. Additionally, it plays a pivotal role as a transit point for travelers exploring the enchanting locales of Tawang, Ziro Valley, Pasighat, and Mechukha.

IHCL's foray into Itanagar enhances its Northeast India portfolio, bringing the total to nine hotels, including five under development. This strategic expansion aligns with IHCL's commitment to providing warm Indian hospitality and world-class service. The Indian Hotels Company Limited, founded by Jamsetji Tata, continues to uphold its legacy since the opening of its first hotel, The Taj Mahal Palace, in Bombay in 1903. NILE Hospitality has announced the upcoming opening of Park Inn & Suites by Radisson Rajkot, marking a significant milestone in Rajkot’s hospitality landscape as the city’s first internationally branded hotel.

The launch further strengthens NILE Hospitality’s growing portfolio of internationally managed properties while reinforcing its long-term strategic collaboration with Radisson Hotel Group. The upcoming property represents the seventh operational partnership between the two organisations and is expected to be the first among several Park Inn & Suites developments planned across emerging Indian markets.

Located in one of Gujarat’s fastest-growing commercial hubs, the hotel will feature 55 contemporary rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, and modern banquet facilities spread across approximately 2,500 sq. ft., catering to business meetings, social gatherings, and events.

The property will operate as an exclusively vegetarian hotel, reflecting regional culinary preferences and evolving traveller expectations in the Gujarat market.

The opening is expected to significantly elevate Rajkot’s hospitality ecosystem by introducing globally benchmarked service standards to a city witnessing strong industrial, commercial, and infrastructure-driven growth. Rajkot continues to emerge as a key business centre in Gujarat with thriving engineering, automobile, manufacturing, and SME sectors, creating increasing demand for professionally managed branded hospitality offerings.
