IHG Hotels & Resorts continues its growth trajectory in India with the signing of voco Amritsar Airport, marking the fifth voco hotel in the country. The 139-room premium hotel, set to open in December 2024, embodies voco's unique blend of individual charm and global brand excellence. IHG's strategic expansion aligns with its regional growth plan for the premium brand, emphasizing its commitment to diverse markets.
Situated in Amritsar, Punjab's vibrant city, voco Amritsar Airport strategically caters to both business and leisure travelers. The hotel's prime location near the airport ensures seamless connectivity to major Indian cities and accessibility from commercial and residential hubs within Amritsar.
Designed to meet the demands of modern travelers, voco Amritsar Airport boasts 805 square meters of versatile meeting space across five venues, including a ballroom. Beyond its well-appointed guest rooms, the hotel features three dining outlets, an outdoor pool, a spa, and a fully-equipped gym for guest relaxation.

Alma Resort Cam Ranh has introduced an innovative twist to in-room service with “Coffee by Bicycle”, a new experience that brings Vietnam’s beloved coffee culture straight to guest pavilions.
As part of the offering, Alma’s barista cycles up to the resort’s spacious one-, two-, and three-bedroom suite pavilions and prepares fresh brews on the spot. Guests can choose from four signature Vietnamese coffees: iced black coffee, iced white coffee with condensed milk, the classic sweet bạc xỉu, and a salted coffee blend that perfectly balances savory and sweet.
The service, available daily from 11 AM to 5 PM, has been designed as a way for visitors to immerse themselves in Vietnam’s coffee traditions while enjoying the privacy and comfort of their accommodations.
Herbert Laubichler-Pichler, Alma Resort’s Managing Director, explained, "Our immersive in-room coffee service opens the door to experiencing Vietnam's authentic coffee culture through a personal moment of Vietnamese tradition. With sweeping ocean views, Alma’s pavilions provide the perfect backdrop for this experience. Ranging from 147 sqm to 214 sqm, the accommodations feature balconies or terraces, private pools or jacuzzis, master bedrooms with soaking tubs, spacious living rooms, kitchens, and ensuite bedrooms, making them ideal for families and multi-generational stays.
The resort itself is spread across 30 hectares on Cam Ranh’s Long Beach, offering guests a wide array of amenities including 12 swimming pools, a waterpark, spa, cinema, amphitheater, mini golf, a science museum, and multiple dining venues. The Ascott Limited (Ascott), a wholly owned business unit of CapitaLand Investment Limited, is set to expand its India portfolio with the signing of Citadines Udupi, a premium serviced residence that will feature 104 keys in the scenic coastal town of Udupi, Karnataka. This becomes Ascott’s fourth property in Karnataka, reflecting its larger strategy of scaling up in India’s fast-growing lodging market.
Located strategically between Mangalore and Udupi, the property enjoys access to both tourism and industry. With Udupi’s Blue Flag-certified beach, strong industrial presence through Suzlon Hi-Tech SEZ and Padubidri Industrial Park, and connectivity via New Mangalore Port Trust, the town is fast becoming a hub for sustainable tourism and clean-tech industries.
Citadines Udupi will cater to both short- and long-stay guests, offering flexible modern living with apartments featuring kitchenettes, all-day dining, fitness facilities, and amenities designed for business and leisure travellers.
