IHG Hotels and Resorts has signed a management agreement with Ginger Tree Goveia to introduce a new hotel in Goa, India. voco Goa Arpora, scheduled to open in January 2025, is part of IHG's regional growth strategy for the premium brand. It marks the seventh IHG brand in India and contributes to their expanding presence in the country.
voco is known for its premium experience that blends the informality and charm of an individual hotel with the reassurance of a global brand. Since its global launch in 2018, voco has seen rapid growth in various regions, including Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. In Goa, voco Goa Arpora will fit perfectly with the destination's white-sandy beaches, vibrant nightlife, sacred temples, and European-influenced architecture.
The hotel's strategic location in prominent North Goa will provide guests with easy access to night markets, high-quality dining options, boutique shopping, and famous beaches like Baga and Calangute. Besides well-appointed guest rooms, the hotel will offer an outdoor pool, rejuvenating spa, well-equipped gym, meeting rooms, and a banqueting space. Three dining options, including a bar and lobby lounge, will cater to diverse guest preferences.
Sudeep Jain, Managing Director of IHG Hotels and Resorts in South West Asia, expressed excitement about bringing voco to Goa, given the region's popularity among tourists. He is confident that voco Goa Arpora will become a preferred choice for leisure travelers seeking a premium hospitality experience.

Radisson Hotel Group has announced the signing of Radisson Collection Hotel, Mysore, marking the debut of its luxury lifestyle brand in the City of Palaces and reinforcing its expansion strategy in South India. The Fern Hotels & Resorts has announced the launch of The Fern Nest Resort Jaipur, Series by Marriott, further strengthening its footprint in Rajasthan. With this addition, the brand now operates five properties in Jaipur and a total of 17 hotels across the state, including those operational and opening shortly.
