IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced a strategic partnership with India-based property developer Brigade Group to introduce the renowned InterContinental brand to Telangana, India.

Scheduled to open its doors in 2029, InterContinental Hyderabad Neopolis will be part of Brigade's mixed-use project, offering a blend of luxury accommodation and upscale amenities.

Sudeep Jain, Managing Director of IHG Hotels & Resorts South West Asia, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, "We are once again delighted to partner with Brigade Enterprises to introduce our luxury & lifestyle brand, InterContinental, to the city of Hyderabad. The signing is an opportunity to bring quality luxury accommodation to the city, catering to the growing needs of diverse travelers and contributing to the city’s economic development."

InterContinental Hyderabad Neopolis is anticipated to feature 300 rooms tailored to meet the needs of leisure, business, and spiritual travelers alike. The hotel will offer a range of dining options, including a signature restaurant, two specialty restaurants, and a lobby lounge, ensuring a memorable culinary experience for guests.

In addition to its dining offerings, the hotel will provide extensive meeting facilities, including eight meeting rooms and a spacious ballroom, catering to the meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) sector, as well as accommodating large social events.

Among its amenities, InterContinental Hyderabad Neopolis will boast a fitness center, spa, swimming pool, outdoor recreation area, and a retail outlet, offering guests a comprehensive array of services to enhance their stay experience.

This partnership underscores IHG's commitment to expanding its presence in India's hospitality market, with 46 hotels currently operating under five brands and a robust pipeline of 49 hotels scheduled to open in the next three to five years.

The announcement comes on the heels of IHG Hotels & Resorts' recent entry into Japan with the launch of Six Senses Kyoto, reflecting the company's continued global expansion and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
