Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), a leader in India's hospitality industry, recently signed an agreement for its 100th Ginger hotel. This new property, featuring 85 rooms, will be located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, and will bring the Ginger brand’s lean luxe design to the city, aimed at combining comfort with style to serve both business and leisure travelers.

Puneet Chhatwal, IHCL's Managing Director and CEO, expressed excitement about this milestone. He remarked, “A pioneering concept, Ginger’s re-imagination with its lean luxe positioning has revolutionized the hospitality landscape in India. Its successful transformation has enabled the brand to scale and achieve the 100-hotel portfolio milestone. Driven by India’s robust GDP growth and increasing consumer aspirations, the mid-scale segment in the country is poised for significant expansion. Ginger, with its relevancy, straddles all city categories and destinations from metros, state capitals, commercial centers, as well as pilgrimage sites and leisure hot spots. We are delighted to partner with Lekhraj Builders for the 100th Ginger hotel in the country.”

The hotel will be located on Captain Aditya Mishra Marg, in the bustling Indira Nagar area. It will offer amenities such as Ginger's signature Qmin restaurant for all-day dining, a fitness center, and versatile meeting spaces suited for both work and relaxation.

Mr. Rajat Garg, Chairman of Lekhraj Builders, which is partnering with IHCL on this project, shared his enthusiasm, stating, “We're thrilled to join hands with IHCL to introduce Ginger to Lucknow. It will cater to the city’s growing business potential.”

Brigade Hospitality has announced the rebranding of its MLR Convention Centre Whitefield as MLR Cultural Centre, marking the venue’s transformation into an emerging destination for arts, culture, and creative expression in Bengaluru.

The rebranding includes a refreshed logo and updated visual identity, reflecting the venue’s evolving role as a platform for cultural engagement. Over recent years, MLR Cultural Centre has expanded beyond traditional conferences and corporate events to host a diverse range of artistic experiences, including music, theatre, dance, literature, and performing arts.

The new identity recognises this journey and reinforces the venue’s commitment to creating meaningful cultural experiences by bringing together artists, audiences, and creative communities.

The nomenclature and visual identity of Brigade Hospitality’s MLR Convention Centre in JP Nagar will remain unchanged.

Commenting on the rebranding, Gurmeet Singh, Assistant Vice President, Brigade Hospitality, said that the identity change reflects the transition the venue has undergone, with cultural activities becoming a stronger focus while continuing to accommodate conferences and corporate events.

He added that the vision is to establish MLR Cultural Centre as a space where artists, audiences, and ideas come together to celebrate India’s vibrant cultural fabric and create memorable experiences.

Hosted by descendants of the renowned Ranbanka Rathore family of Kurki Fort, whose lineage traces back to the 23rd generation of saint-poet Mirabai, the property offers travellers an opportunity to experience Rajasthan’s living heritage.

Inspired by traditional Rajasthani havelis, WelcomHeritage Kurki Palace reflects a blend of Marwari, Mughal, and European architectural influences. The property features four distinctive dining venues — Darbar – The Sky Lounge, Swarn Mahal, Badal Mahal, and Sugar Coated Café — offering curated culinary experiences inspired by Rajasthan’s flavours and artistic traditions.

Beyond accommodation and dining, WelcomHeritage Kurki Palace offers a range of wellness and leisure facilities, including an indoor swimming pool, spa, fitness centre, and curated relaxation spaces.
