In a significant milestone, Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd. has introduced Aurika, Mumbai Skycity, marking India's largest inventory hotel. With its strategic location near Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (Terminal 2), this deluxe hotel boasts an impressive 669 aesthetically designed rooms and suites, top-notch dining options, extensive banquet facilities, cutting-edge technology, and world-class service.

Patanjali G. Keswani, Chairman and Managing Director of Lemon Tree Hotels, expressed his excitement about the launch, stating, “I am delighted to announce the launch of Aurika, Mumbai Skycity, our largest project to date. Located close to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (Terminal 2), this deluxe hotel has 669 rooms and suites and is currently the largest hotel (by number of rooms) in India.”

“This is our third hotel under the Aurika Hotels & Resorts brand, as well as our third hotel in Mumbai. I believe that this addition will help to fulfill the increasing needs of both business and leisure travelers. This launch also brings us one step closer to our goal of bringing our total inventory, including operational and to be opened, to 20,000+ rooms, in the next four years,” he added.

Aurika, Mumbai Skycity seamlessly blends Mumbai's rich cultural heritage and iconic architecture, paying tribute to the city's past while embracing its vibrant present. While maintaining an international appeal, the hotel incorporates subtle luxury and a distinct Mumbai flavor, creating an inviting ambiance enriched by elements from diverse cultures.

The hotel features a range of dining options, including Mirasa, the all-day dining restaurant; Ariva, the bar; a tea lounge; a specialty restaurant; and extensive banquet facilities, such as the ballroom and multiple boardrooms.

In addition to its hospitality offerings, Aurika, Mumbai Skycity is committed to actively promoting art and culture by hosting regular events and exhibitions showcasing the works of local and international artists. Indian Hotels Company Limited has announced the opening of Vivanta Vrindavan, marking the brand’s debut in one of India’s most revered spiritual hubs, Vrindavan. The launch reinforces IHCL’s continued focus on expanding its presence across key pilgrimage and spiritual destinations in the country.

Strategically located close to major temples and cultural landmarks, the 135-key property has been designed to offer a calm and immersive stay experience, reflecting the spiritual essence of the destination while maintaining Vivanta’s contemporary hospitality approach.

Speaking on the launch, Deepika Rao noted that spiritual destinations in India continue to witness sustained and diverse travel demand, with Vrindavan remaining central to this journey. She added that the hotel aims to deliver a stay experience rooted in the ethos of the destination.

The property features multiple dining and lifestyle offerings including Mynt, an all-day vegetarian restaurant with global and regional influences; Swirl, a lobby café; Wink, a poolside bar; and Tease, an alfresco dining space. Guests can also access wellness facilities such as a spa, fitness centre, and an open-to-sky infinity pool.

Highlighting the operational vision, Saurabh Mitra shared that the hotel has been thoughtfully designed to reflect the vibrant character of Vrindavan, with a focus on delivering meaningful and personalised guest experiences.

The opening aligns with IHCL’s broader strategy of tapping into India’s growing spiritual tourism segment, where destinations like Shri Banke Bihari Mandir and Prem Mandir continue to attract both domestic and international travellers.
