InterGlobe Enterprises, the majority stakeholder in IndiGo airline, has made a significant expansion into the European hospitality sector with the launch of Miiro, a boutique lifestyle hotel brand. Miiro has already opened its first properties, Le Grand Hôtel Cayré in Paris and Borneta in Barcelona, and plans to extend its presence across Europe in the coming years.

Neena Gupta, CEO of Miiro, announced that the brand's expansion will continue with new hotels in London and Vienna set to open in 2025. The London property, Templeton Garden, will be located in Earl’s Court, offering 156 rooms along with amenities like a café-deli, neighborhood restaurant, and an outdoor dining experience in a lush garden setting. Following this, Miiro will debut two hotels in Vienna, collectively offering over 200 rooms, further establishing its footprint in Europe.

Miiro is designed for "self-assured travelers" seeking a blend of homely comfort and modern amenities in city centers. Each property is uniquely inspired by its local neighborhood, community, and architectural style, making no two hotels alike. The brand aims to create immersive experiences that connect guests with the heart of the city they are visiting.

InterGlobe has a history of strategic acquisitions in iconic locations. Since 2018, the company has acquired 13 hotel properties across major cities including London, Paris, Barcelona, Vienna, Hamburg, Munich, and Amsterdam. Of these, three have already been transformed into Miiro properties, with plans for more conversions and new developments in the future. Gupta emphasized that Miiro's growth strategy focuses on acquiring high-yield assets in prime locations and turning them into distinctive lifestyle hotels.

Miiro's expansion reflects InterGlobe's commitment to reshaping the hospitality industry by offering thoughtfully designed stays that deeply connect travelers with local culture and communities.
