Located in the heart of the picturesque Chartrons district in Bordeaux, Hotel Indigo has chosen this vibrant neighborhood for their third opening in France. Known for their unique approach to immersing guests in the local culture, Hotel Indigo offers an authentic experience that reflects the sights, sounds, and flavors of its surroundings.

Chartrons, named after a medieval charterhouse, is a neighborhood with a rich history that has evolved into a trendy spot for locals, design enthusiasts, and antique lovers. The main street, Rue Notre-Dame, is dotted with restaurants, wine bars, and some of Bordeaux’s best bakeries. You’ll also find boutiques offering chic fashion, handmade toys, and gourmet local products.

Every aspect of the hotel, from the decor to the furniture, has been carefully curated by designer Stella Cadente. She has created a narrative that takes you on a journey through her choice of materials and colors. The rooms in the hotel are inspired by a family vacation on the Arcachon Basin. Each room tells a different story: the “Pilat” guest room with its warm yellow tones, reminiscent of sunny dunes; the “Sunset” room, adorned with orange and coral colors, paying tribute to the local sunsets; the “Lagoon” room, evoking the tranquil blue seas; and the luxurious “Rotunda” suites, the epitome of the hotel’s aesthetics.

On the 7th floor of the hotel, you'll find the Tchanqué restaurant, offering a panoramic view of Bordeaux. The restaurant’s menu is influenced by the Bay of Arcachon and the Basque Country, featuring fresh and hearty dishes made with local ingredients. Seafood takes center stage, with options like shrimp rolls, seared tuna bites, and a seafood linguine. Don’t forget to try the sweet treats, such as creamy cannelés and choux d'amour. The restaurant also boasts an oyster bar, “the chef's table,” signature cocktails, and a local wine list in partnership with local producers.

Hotel Indigo’s philosophy is to allow guests to immerse themselves in the neighborhood and take a piece of it home. Whether you’re exploring the local restaurants or boutiques, each experience is designed to connect you with the vibrant Chartrons district.

The hotel is easily accessible by public transport and is conveniently located near key attractions like the Cité des Vins, the Bassin Des Lumières, the Jardin Public, and the majestic Place Des Quinconces.

Hotel Indigo Bordeaux – Centre Chartrons is more than just a place to stay; it’s a gateway to one of Bordeaux’s most exciting neighborhoods. Join the hotel in celebrating the unique character of Chartrons while enjoying a comfortable and immersive experience. Be part of this exciting journey, where every detail reflects the local charm and culture.

Hotel Indigo Bordeaux has opened in partnership with hotel owner group, Grape Hospitality. This marks the latest addition to the Hotel Indigo brand, which is rapidly growing and introducing itself to must-visit destinations around the world.
