ITC Hotels Limited (ITCHL) has announced the signing of a management agreement for a 65-key hotel under its Storii by ITC Hotels brand in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, expanding the company’s presence in one of North India’s established leisure destinations.

The signing is part of ITCHL’s continued expansion across distinctive destinations, with the Storii brand focusing on experiences that reflect the character, culture and surroundings of each location.

The upcoming property will be located near the Kempty Falls area of Mussoorie and will offer expansive views of the Siwalik ranges. The hotel will also have road connectivity to key cities and destinations including Dehradun, Rishikesh and Haridwar.

Set amid the hills, the property is planned as a contemporary retreat designed to complement its natural surroundings while offering modern comforts.

The hotel will feature an all-day dining restaurant, bar and lounge, along with wellness facilities. The facilities are intended to cater to leisure travellers, families and guests seeking a relaxed mountain getaway.

Commenting on the signing, Anil Chadha, Managing Director, ITC Hotels Limited, said, “India's travel landscape is evolving towards experiences that are more meaningful, personal and rooted in the character of a destination. Mussoorie, with its enduring charm, natural beauty and rich sense of place, continues to hold a special place in the hearts of travellers. The signing of Storii by ITC Hotels Mussoorie is in keeping with our vision to take the Storii philosophy of discovery, authenticity and immersive hospitality to distinctive destinations across the country.”

Expanding Experiential Hospitality in Mussoorie

Mussoorie has long been a popular mountain retreat, attracting both domestic and international travellers. Its natural landscape, pleasant climate and accessibility from major cities in Uttarakhand have established the destination as a leisure getaway for holidays, celebrations and wellness-focused stays.

The growing interest in experiential travel and nature-led hospitality is also creating demand for properties that combine contemporary accommodation with a stronger connection to their surroundings.

With the new signing, Storii by ITC Hotels will bring its destination-focused hospitality approach to Mussoorie. The brand's philosophy centres on creating stays that reflect the local character through elements of culture, heritage, landscape and curated guest experiences.

The Mussoorie project adds to ITC Hotels’ efforts to expand beyond major urban centres and establish its brands across emerging and established leisure destinations.

As the hotel develops, Storii by ITC Hotels Mussoorie is expected to offer travellers a contemporary base from which to explore Mussoorie and the surrounding Himalayan landscape while experiencing the brand’s focus on authentic and destination-led hospitality.
