ixigo has introduced “ixigo for work”, a new business-travel experience designed to simplify domestic flight bookings by bringing corporate fares and work-travel benefits into its existing booking journey.

Currently available through the ixigo app, the feature allows business travellers to access eligible corporate fares without creating a separate business account or completing an additional setup process.

Travellers can activate “ixigo for work” before beginning a domestic flight search. Once enabled, eligible corporate fares are displayed alongside regular fares, allowing users to compare available options within the same booking journey.

Corporate Fares and Flexible Benefits

Corporate fares available through the new experience can offer benefits such as reduced cancellation and rescheduling charges, complimentary seat selection and meals, providing business travellers with greater flexibility when plans change.

The feature also allows travellers to save their company's GSTIN on the platform, helping eligible businesses claim applicable GST input credit.

For additional flexibility, business travellers can also opt for ixigo's Assured product during booking. The offering provides a full, instant refund on cancellations with no questions asked, according to ixigo.

Travellers can also access additional travel services including Travel Insurance, Airport Cabs and Flight Delay Protection.

Business Travel Within the Existing Booking Journey

With ixigo for work, we wanted to make the entire process as simple as booking any other flight on ixigo, while giving travellers access to the flexibility and benefits they need for work travel.”

The new experience is designed around a simple booking flow. Travellers can switch on Work mode when beginning a flight search, compare eligible corporate and regular fares, add their GSTIN and complete the booking through the ixigo app.

By integrating business-travel features into its existing consumer booking experience, ixigo is positioning “ixigo for work” as an option for travellers who make occasional or regular work trips without requiring a separate corporate booking setup.
