JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar has appointed Arpan Kakde as its new Director of Food & Beverage, bringing an experienced hospitality professional to lead the hotel's food and beverage operations and culinary offerings.

Kakde brings over 20 years of experience across luxury hospitality, premium dining and F&B operations. His career includes leadership roles with leading hospitality brands such as Marriott International, The St. Regis Mumbai, Shangri-La Mumbai, The Oberoi Mumbai, Trident Mumbai and Hilton Mumbai.

His experience covers large-scale food and beverage operations, business development, revenue growth, strategic planning and team leadership. He has also contributed to several dining concepts and hospitality pre-openings.

In his new role, Kakde will focus on strengthening the hotel's F&B operations, exploring opportunities for culinary innovation and enhancing guest engagement. He will also work on nurturing a high-performing team while responding to the evolving dining landscape.

A recipient of the Marriott People First Award 2025, Kakde's career reflects his continued involvement in hospitality operations and team leadership. His appointment marks the next step in a professional journey spanning some of India's recognised hospitality brands.
