JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar has announced the appointment of Numrata Rai Kumar as its new Front Office Manager. Known for her strong leadership and deep focus on guest satisfaction, Kumar brings extensive experience from some of the world’s most respected hospitality brands.

Before joining JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, Kumar served as Front Office Manager at Park Hyatt Hyderabad, where she significantly elevated guest satisfaction scores and operational standards. Her career journey also includes roles such as Assistant Front Office Manager at Courtyard by Marriott Siliguri, along with managerial positions at Conrad Hotels & Resorts, Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces, and Westin Hotels & Resorts.

Kumar’s dedication to service excellence has been recognised with accolades including the "Best Employee of the Year" award, reflecting her commitment to going above and beyond for guests.

In her new role, Kumar will oversee all aspects of front office operations, from smooth arrivals and departures to personalised guest experiences. Thapa’s career spans leadership roles at some of India’s most prestigious hospitality brands, including The St. Regis Mumbai, The Leela Palaces Hotels and Resorts, Silver Beach Entertainment & Hospitality, and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. Most recently, she served as General Manager of Operations, Training & Development at Aspect Hospitality, where she spearheaded initiatives in service excellence, talent development, and operational innovation.

Recognised for her dynamic leadership style, strong background in restaurant management, and commitment to guest engagement, Thapa brings a holistic approach to food and beverage operations. Holiday Inn New Delhi Mayur Vihar Noida has announced the appointment of Himanshu Sahni as Director of Catering Sales. With more than 14 years of experience in luxury hospitality, Himanshu brings proven expertise in MICE sales and client relationship management.

His professional journey includes leadership roles at Roseate Hotels & Resorts, The Suryaa New Delhi, and Eros Hotel Nehru Place, where he consistently delivered strong sales performance and built long-term client partnerships.

In his new role, Himanshu will lead the MICE vertical at Holiday Inn New Delhi Mayur Vihar Noida, focusing on driving group business, maximizing banquet and event revenues, and strengthening the hotel’s position in the competitive MICE market.

A graduate in Hotel Management from IILM College, Gurgaon, Himanshu is currently pursuing his MBA from IMT Ghaziabad, further enhancing his leadership and strategic acumen. Outside work, he enjoys fitness, snooker, yoga, and reading.
