KAMARI Opens in Anjuna with a New Expression of Beachfront Hospitality

North Goa has welcomed a new beachfront destination with the opening of KAMARI in Anjuna. The destination brings together architecture, world cuisine, progressive mixology, music and cultural programming, creating an all-day experience inspired by the rhythm of the Arabian Sea.

KAMARI moves from relaxed afternoons and beachfront dining to sunset gatherings and vibrant evenings. Inspired by the duality of the sun and moon, the destination changes its mood throughout the day, offering a calm setting during daylight and a more energetic atmosphere after sunset.

The architecture features soft curves inspired by the movement of the ocean, with natural materials such as weathered wood, linen, rattan and earthy textures. The property also features a bespoke Toile de Jouy artwork that brings together the mythology of the moon, the sea, tropical flora and fauna, and coastal life. Guests can enjoy beachfront sunbeds, sea-facing dining spaces and private cabanas with plunge pools. The experience begins from arrival, with personalised hospitality and solar-powered golf cart transfers.

As evening sets in, a 23-foot Medusa sculpture becomes the centrepiece of the indoor-outdoor lounge, brought to life through lighting, digital storytelling and curated entertainment. The culinary programme, led by Chef Ram, features a globally inspired menu built around seasonal produce and bold flavours. Signature dishes include Millet Tabouleh, Avocado Edamame Toast, Zucchini Burrata Curry, Garlic Butter Lamb Chops, John Dory Fish and Prawn Thermidor.

The bar programme, led by Dikshit Shetty, reinterprets Indian flavours through techniques such as clarification, fermentation, infusion and distillation. Signature cocktails include Rasam, Aarambh and Ko-cane, featuring regional spices, indigenous botanicals, tropical fruits and nostalgic flavours. KAMARI will also host curated music, cultural and community experiences. Its weekly Sunday sundowner, IN WHITE, will bring together music, signature cocktails, world cuisine and sunset celebrations on the beachfront.

Commenting on the launch, Varun Duggal, Co-Founder & Designated Partner of KAMARI, said, “We're no longer competing for people's appetite. We're competing for the few hours they're willing to give us. If those hours don't become memorable, we've only done half our job.”

He added that KAMARI was created as more than a beach club, bringing architecture, hospitality, food, cocktails, music and the natural beauty of the Arabian Sea together in one experience. With its focus on design, dining, mixology and cultural experiences, KAMARI aims to create a beachfront destination where every visit offers a different experience.
