Hyatt Hotels is set to bring a new wave of hospitality to Kathmandu, Nepal. In a recent announcement, a Hyatt affiliate and City Hotel revealed plans to transform the existing Hyatt Place Kathmandu into the new Hyatt Centric Soalteemode Kathmandu. This renovation marks the debut of the full-service Hyatt Centric brand in Nepal.

A Redefined Hospitality Experience

The upcoming Hyatt Centric Soalteemode Kathmandu is undergoing a comprehensive makeover. Guests can expect a redesigned entrance and lobby, a contemporary sky bar and lounge, and a host of upgraded amenities, creating a vibrant atmosphere that appeals to modern travellers.

Located near the heart of Kathmandu, the hotel will cater to guests seeking authentic local experiences. It’s strategically positioned for easy access to the city’s pilgrimage sites and numerous UNESCO World Heritage Sites, making it an ideal base for explorers and culturally curious travellers.

Local Inspiration Meets Modern Hospitality

Akshay Golyan, City Hotel's executive director, expressed enthusiasm about the transformation. “We are eager to showcase the hotel's new design, inspired by local culture, to provide our guests with unique and memorable experiences,” said Golyan. The redesign aims to foster a sense of connection and meet the demands of today’s travellers.

These properties are known for their prime locations and immersive local experiences. Hyatt's portfolio in India and South-West Asia, including this new venture in Nepal, encompasses 47 properties across eight distinct brands, catering to a diverse range of traveller preferences.

This rebranding of the Hyatt Place Kathmandu to Hyatt Centric Soalteemode Kathmandu is more than just a change of name; it’s a step towards a new era of travel experiences, blending local charm with global standards of hospitality.
