Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris, a premier property under the Accor hospitality group, has completed a major upgrade to its Wi-Fi network, just in time for the busy summer season. This enhancement was made possible through a collaboration with CommScope’s RUCKUS Networks, aimed at providing guests and staff with an elevated digital experience.
The luxury hotel, known for its blend of contemporary design and artistic ambiance, has installed more than 330 RUCKUS access points (APs) throughout its 149 guest rooms, suites, and high-traffic public areas, such as the Katara Cinema. Additionally, six outdoor APs and two RUCKUS SmartZone Wi-Fi Controllers were deployed to ensure seamless, high-speed connectivity across the entire property.
Hedi Elkilani, IT Director of Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris, expressed enthusiasm about the upgrade, stating, "I am thrilled to announce our recent upgrade to RUCKUS Wi-Fi technology, supported by a dedicated 4Gb fibre connection exclusively for our guests. This significant enhancement underscores our commitment to providing an unparalleled digital experience for our esteemed guests. With RUCKUS's advanced Wi-Fi solutions, we are now able to deliver seamless, high-speed internet connectivity throughout our property, ensuring that every guest enjoys the same level of performance and reliability they expect at home."
The improved network provides reliable, high-speed Wi-Fi, capable of supporting activities like streaming, video conferencing, and other bandwidth-intensive tasks. This upgrade is designed to meet the needs of today’s travelers, who expect premium connectivity as part of their stay.
Bart Giordano, Senior Vice President and President of Networking, Intelligent Cellular, and Security Solutions at CommScope, added, “When travelling far and wide, guests expect a premium experience, including a fast, easy and uninterrupted Wi-Fi connection," he said. "Our deployment with Le Royal Monceau is a great example of how RUCKUS Networks' Wi-Fi technology and expertise in network infrastructure offers real value to premium hospitality venues and guests, delivering the calibre of stay that today's hotel guests expect.”
