Lemon Tree Hotels Limited has expanded its presence in West Bengal with the opening of Keys Prima by Lemon Tree Hotels, Darjeeling, marking the Group’s first hotel in the popular hill destination. The 65-room property is managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited.
Located on Old Kutchery Road, the hotel offers convenient access to Darjeeling’s key attractions while placing guests close to the destination’s mountain surroundings. Known for its tea estates, Himalayan views, pleasant climate and colonial-era heritage, Darjeeling continues to attract leisure travellers looking for mountain holidays and refreshing getaways. The hotel features 65 well-appointed rooms and suites, including superior rooms, deluxe rooms, studio suites and executive suites. Guests can enjoy views of the valley, city, forest and surrounding gardens.
Dining and leisure facilities at the property include Keys Café, a multi-cuisine all-day dining restaurant, along with Unlock Bar, in-room dining and a fitness centre. The hotel also features an outdoor lawn with a capacity of up to 100 guests, suitable for intimate social gatherings, private celebrations and outdoor events.
“Darjeeling remains one of India's most-loved hill destinations, be it a classic mountain holiday for families or shorter, experience-led trips for younger travellers. The tea estates, the food and the character of the town are as much a part of the journey as the view. This makes Darjeeling a natural fit for Keys Prima by Lemon Tree Hotels, which combines contemporary comfort with thoughtful service and a strong sense of value. With our debut here, we look forward to offering travellers our signature hospitality as they discover Darjeeling, and to marking a new milestone in our growing presence in West Bengal,” said Vishvapreet Singh Cheema, President, Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd.
The Darjeeling opening takes Lemon Tree Hotels’ operational presence in West Bengal to three properties, with three more properties in the state pipeline. The new Keys Prima property adds another destination to the Group’s growing portfolio while introducing its hospitality offering to travellers visiting Darjeeling.
