Lemon Tree Hotels Limited continues its expansion with the signing of Lemon Tree Hotel, Bapane, Maharashtra, a property expected to open in FY 2026. Managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, the hotel will feature 76 well-appointed rooms, a restaurant, a meeting room, a swimming pool, a spa, and other public areas.
Strategically located in Bapane Village within the Vasai Municipality of Palghar District, the hotel lies in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. Known for its industrial development, Vasai is home to small- and medium-scale units producing diverse goods. Its proximity to Mumbai and affordable housing options have contributed to a high population growth rate since the 1980s.
The property is well-connected, with Mumbai International Airport approximately 43 km away and Borivali Railway Station about 28.8 km away. Additionally, it is easily accessible via roadways, catering to both public and private transport.
Vilas Pawar, CEO - Managed & Franchise Business, Lemon Tree Hotels, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion:"We are delighted to strengthen our portfolio in Maharashtra, an economic powerhouse with a rich cultural heritage, diverse landscapes, and vibrant history. This property will complement our twelve existing and five upcoming hotels in the state."
Lemon Tree Hotels, which opened its first property with 49 rooms in May 2004, has rapidly grown into one of India's leading hospitality chains. Today, it boasts over 210 hotels, with more than 110 operational properties and 90 upcoming projects across metro cities and tier I, II, and III towns. These include destinations like Pune, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, and Udaipur, among others.
The group has also expanded internationally, with properties in Dubai, Bhutan, and Nepal, showcasing its commitment to growth both within and outside India.
With the launch of Lemon Tree Hotel, Bapane, the brand reinforces its mission to offer comfortable, value-driven hospitality in India's thriving economic regions.
