Lemon Tree Hotels has announced its latest signing, the Lemon Tree Hotel, Udaipur, which is scheduled to open in FY 2027. The property will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited. This upcoming addition strengthens the group's presence in Rajasthan, a state known for its rich history, culture, and scenic beauty.
Udaipur, often referred to as the "City of Lakes", is celebrated for its stunning sunsets, intricate handicrafts, and authentic Rajasthani cuisine. Popular tourist spots like the Jagdish Temple, the tranquil Saheliyon-ki-Bari, the grand Monsoon Palace, and the vibrant markets in the old city make it a must-visit destination for travelers. The city's charm, combined with its royal heritage, continues to draw visitors from across the globe.
The new Lemon Tree Hotel, Udaipur will feature 54 well-appointed rooms, offering a comfortable and contemporary stay for guests. The hotel will include amenities such as a restaurant, bar, meeting room, swimming pool, and fitness centre, ensuring a comprehensive and relaxing experience for both business and leisure travelers. The property is strategically located approximately 18 kms from Maharana Pratap Airport and 9 kms from the Udaipur City Railway Station, with excellent road connectivity.
Commenting on this significant addition to the portfolio, Vilas Pawar, CEO — Managed & Franchise Business, Lemon Tree Hotels, said, “We are excited to expand our footprint in Rajasthan with this new property. Udaipur is a key destination for travelers, and this hotel will complement our three operational properties in the city. With nine existing and five upcoming properties across Rajasthan, this expansion reflects our commitment to growing our presence in the region.”
Lemon Tree Hotels Limited (LTHL) is one of India’s largest hotel chains, operating across various segments from upscale to economy. The group’s diverse portfolio includes seven brands: Aurika Hotels & Resorts, Lemon Tree Premier, Lemon Tree Hotels, Red Fox by Lemon Tree Hotels, Keys Prima, Keys Select, and Keys Lite by Lemon Tree Hotels. With this signing, Lemon Tree continues to expand its reach, providing travelers with more options for quality accommodations across India.
