Kanchenjunga, standing tall at 8,586 metres, is not only the highest peak in India but also the third-highest mountain in the world. A symbol of pride, awe, and natural grandeur, the mountain continues to captivate travellers from across the globe. Sterling Darjeeling offers guests a rare opportunity to experience uninterrupted views of this iconic peak, placing the mountain at the heart of the stay experience.
Located atop Ghoom, the highest point in Darjeeling, Sterling Darjeeling provides what can best be described as a ringside view of the Kanchenjunga range. Guests are increasingly drawn to the resort for its thoughtfully designed vantage points that allow them to observe the mountain’s ever-changing moods throughout the day. The resort’s restaurant, Delicacy, is one such space where families and groups can come together to enjoy panoramic views while dining in a relaxed and comfortable setting.
The resort places a strong emphasis on shared experiences that foster connection and togetherness. Guests can begin their mornings with breakfast served on the lawns, soaking in sweeping views of Kanchenjunga as the day unfolds. High tea by the viewpoint offers another memorable moment, set against Darjeeling’s calm mountain backdrop, encouraging guests to pause, unwind, and immerse themselves in nature.
While select rooms at Sterling Darjeeling also offer views of the Kanchenjunga range, the resort’s focus remains on open, accessible spaces designed for guests of all ages. These shared areas invite travellers to connect with both nature and one another, complemented by Sterling’s signature warm hospitality and comfortable stay experience.
Commenting on the offering, Mr. Harinath M., Senior Vice President – Marketing, Sterling Holiday Resorts, said, “Kanchenjunga is not just a mountain, it is a landmark that defines the spirit of Darjeeling and India. At Sterling Darjeeling, we have consciously created shared spaces where guests can experience these celebrated Kanchenjunga views together, at different points of the day. As a brand with a wide presence across leisure destinations in India, Sterling remains committed to delivering experiences that are rooted in the destination and memorable for families.”
With its elevated location, destination-inspired experiences, and focus on togetherness, Sterling Darjeeling continues to strengthen its position as a preferred mountain retreat for travellers seeking comfort, connection, and unforgettable views of one of India’s most celebrated natural wonders.
Rising above the city at the Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru, Copitas continues to stand out as one of India’s most refined bar destinations. Overlooking expansive skyline views from the 21st floor, the bar has now achieved a significant milestone by securing the second position at the Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Travel Awards 2025, marking a moment of distinction as the year draws to a close.
The recognition reflects Copitas’ sustained commitment to clarity, craft, and creative restraint. Known for cocktails that are precise, polished, and free from unnecessary flourish, the bar has built a reputation for delivering experiences that feel effortless yet deeply considered.
Reflecting on the achievement, Biswajit Chakraborty, General Manager, Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru, said, “At Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru, our beverage philosophy is rooted in craft, clarity, and intention. At Copitas, every pour is considered, every cocktail designed to create an experience that lingers well beyond the last sip. This recognition belongs to an exceptional team that works with quiet precision and deep pride, delivering moments that feel effortless, memorable, and truly global.”
Copitas has consistently earned accolades on both global and regional platforms, including a ranking among India’s 30 Best Bars 2024 and a place on Asia’s 50 Best Bars. Its approach favours balance and refinement, where classic cocktails coexist seamlessly with thoughtful reinterpretations driven by technique and intent.
The bar’s interiors mirror its philosophy. A low-lit, contemporary space accented by cool marble, sculptural wood elements, and plush seating creates an atmosphere that is intimate yet assured. Seamless service, an impeccably curated back bar, and a calm confidence define the Copitas experience.
Adding another layer to its identity, Copitas’ latest menu draws inspiration from music and time, taking guests on a journey from the jazz age of the 1920s through disco and into modern electronica. Each cocktail is conceived as a tribute to a genre, pairing flavour with era and inviting guests to experience sound through taste.
Beyond its own bar counter, Copitas has established a strong presence on the international mixology circuit through curated takeovers and collaborations with leading global bartenders. As Bengaluru’s after-dark scene continues to evolve, Copitas remains at the forefront, defining modern luxury drinking in India with precision, intention, and a quiet sense of excellence.
