Lemon Tree Hotels has announced its latest signing in Bhuj, Gujarat with the upcoming Lemon Tree Hotel, Bhuj, set to open in FY 2026. The hotel, managed by Carnations Hotels Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited, will feature 74 well-appointed rooms, a restaurant, meeting rooms, a banquet, a swimming pool, a fitness centre, and several other public areas, catering to both business and leisure travellers.
Located in Bhuj, the administrative capital of Kutch district, the hotel will offer a prime location near cultural landmarks such as Aina Mahal and Bhujodi village, known for its handwoven textiles. Bhuj also serves as a gateway to the Rann of Kutch, a renowned cultural hub that hosts the famous Rann Utsav festival, celebrating the region's rich traditions, arts, and crafts.
With the hotel just 9 km from Bhuj Airport and 4 km from Bhuj Railway Station, it will be well-connected by both public and private transport, ensuring convenience for all guests.
Vilas Pawar, CEO of Managed & Franchise Business at Lemon Tree Hotels, commented, “We are delighted to strengthen our presence in Gujarat, a state renowned for its vibrant culture, craftsmanship, and entrepreneurial spirit. With this new property, we continue to expand our footprint across India, aiming to make Lemon Tree Hotels the preferred brand for travellers across various segments.”
This new property is part of the brand’s ambitious growth plans in the region. With seven existing hotels and 12 upcoming properties in Gujarat alone, Lemon Tree Hotels continues to expand its portfolio, which now includes over 200 hotels across India and internationally. The company’s growth also extends beyond India, with international hotels in Dubai (opened in December 2019), Bhutan (opened in February 2020), and Nepal (opening in April 2024).
This development reflects Lemon Tree Hotels' commitment to providing quality accommodation in both metro and tier II, III cities, making it an increasingly popular choice for travellers across the country and beyond.
